45Very nice place! Lots of seating areas, a nice covered porch. There was some dog poop around, but not a ton. The dogs inside the house were very loud, but the listing mentioned being able to hear dogs.
25Not at all what I expected based on the reviews. Numerous dogs were apparently inside the house and they began barking as soon as we entered the gate and continued to bark at us the whole time we were there -- so many that it sounded like a kennel or a shelter. We've been working on our own dog's reactivity and he's now pretty tolerant of dogs barking at him from a distance -- but we were at a SniffSpot and not a dog park or a doggy daycare because we were looking for a space where he felt safe. My anxious dog was completely freaked out by the many loud dogs in such close proximity. We could also see at least one big dog ferociously barking at the window. My dog was too triggered to even accept a treat, too anxious to play, and I was concerned he might try to jump the fence to escape them. Many areas were also littered with large dog poops every few feet (see photo) that had clearly been there awhile. We left after less than 15 minutes. This was our first SniffSpot experience and really disappointing.
55It’s beautiful
55Very nice and clean. My dogs loved it!
55Wonderful visit. Our pup had a lovely time sniffing around and exploring.
55This is a nice quiet spot! Host was very communicative and let us know beforehand about a fallen tree on the fence. My dog enjoyed sniffing around the yard!

Description

Fully fenced yard, approximately 0.25-0.5 acres. Fence has small wire grating so small dogs can’t fit through the bars. Back deck has a table, chairs, umbrella for seating and shade, and a container with supplies.

Cleanliness

67% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

We do have patio furniture, a fire pit, trampoline, and some railroad ties in the yard, but they are out of the way and should not cause any issues. Our dogs are in and out of the space when we are home, so without enough advance notice there may be poop in the yard. We have a small pink kiddie pool that you are welcome to fill with the hose or you can feed free to move it out of the way.

Extras

Bottled water$2

Able to provide water with advance notice if needed.

Leashes$1

Can leave a leash on the deck if you need one to use during your visit.

Umbrella$1

Can provide an umbrella for your visit in case of rain.

Scooby's 7 Acre Private Dog Park In Winder

THE PARK: Amazing field for your pets to roam freely. With over 7 acres of fully fenced area , your dog will definitely have a great time exploring. Perfect for reactive dogs to have a safe and secluded area to roam around. Tons of open space and shade for the summer days or a a nice walk during the chilly fall/winter season. Take a seat and enjoy our resting fire pit area with shade and a water bowl is provided for your pets ( They will be tired out after all the roaming!) Toys and dog poop bags are included. Not only will your dog love this park but owners will also have a peaceful time. HOW TO GET THERE: Entrance to park is a bit hidden but will be located on the right side facing the house. I have a photo showing the entrance on the listing. Parking area will be passing down the field close to the pavilion or you can simply leave the car parked at the main entrance. Make sure to close main gate once inside to sure complete enclosure of the park. THINGS TO NOTE PLEASE READ: Although park is completely fenced, the second part of the park passing the red gate does have barb wires and large gaps that escape artist can wonder off too. Backstory: My best friend Scooby took an early trip to dog heaven so he never got a chance to play in the land now dedicated to him. His younger brother Koko and Lukas definitely have a blast when they roam Scooby's Dog park. With every visit, I just know that Scooby is welcoming all dogs that come through the gate. He was the most friendly dog and best friend anyone could ask for ( just didn't like to be messed with when he would eat ). Although I couldn't have that experience with my Scooby, I hope you have a peaceful and playful time as you visit Scooby's Dog Park.
