55What a great spot for a private hike and splash around in the creek without having to worry about other dogs!
We did get a little confused with the directions but we called Alma and she kindly guided us to the spot. Plan to arrive a little earlier your first visit just in case.
The space isn’t 100% enclosed, there are two entrances with open access but they are quite far away from the trails. If your dog doesn’t have a solid recall and likes to go follow their nose, it may be best to bring a long line like we did.
All in all, our dog had an absolute blast here, we will definitely be returning for another visit. Isabella S.

55We had an awesome adventure day at Dog Day Adventures! It’s a large, hilly property (organic avocado orchard) with a wonderful, shallow creek/small beach at one end of the property. Recommend to bring good walking/hiking shoes and plenty of water and consider making longer reservation - we’ll be making 2hr reservations or longer from now on! It’s quiet and provides plenty of opportunity for doggies to hike off leash and play in the cool creek water. Our doggie loved, loved it-did not want to leave! There’s even a table near the creek for a picnic or snack time. Owner is super friendly and responsive!Mabell A.

55Doggy Day Adventures is a wonderful place! Our dog Scout truly enjoyed the experience of running freely off leash to explore the beautiful surroundings. This property is so tranquil and peaceful. We loved playing in the stream with Scout and it was great to watch her be so happy while playing fetch in the water. The humans got to sit in a swing and enjoy being a kid again. We love Doggy Day Adventures! Most of all, our dog had the best day and she gives Doggy Day Adventures a rating of 10/10 wags! Our host was so welcoming, kind and helpful. She gave us great tips for our time there and even offered us a lift in her cool off road vehicle. Can’t say enough about this place! Michelle E.

FAQ about our Homeland dog hiking trails
Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.

Since you are looking for trails, make sure to check photos to see if it the spot has flat trails or gnarly trails.
