Feel free to let your pet run through the fenced yard and explore. The yard is mowed weekly and may have some bare spots and occasionally dog poop. We are not UPSCALE. We are all about safe free time for you and your pet. Small dogs such as Havanese, terriers, and Bichons love our spot, as well as Labrador & golden retrievers, poodles, doodles, Portuguese water dogs, beagles, shepherds, pit bulls and mixed breeds. We love Mutts. Big or little, there is something for everyone. We are around a mile off Hwy 85 and Business 85. A bench, covered porch, seating, and cold bottles of water are always included. There is a fire pit and avaliable fire wood under the tarp around the tree inside the pickets ready for roasting smores. There is a mini fridge on the back porch with water bottles for you and your fur friends. Plenty of parking please park where the owners can still access both carports.

Captain's Retreat at Bear Creek located off Highway 64 in Mocksville! 4.5 acres of fully fenced (woven mesh wire and post/rail 5.5ft to 6ft high) with trails, woods, field, and plenty of room to run and explore! Open the front gate and drive into the secure parking area. ***CLOSE AND LATCH THE GATE BEHIND YOU BEFORE GETTING YOUR DOGS OUT OF THE CAR!*** Walk through gate into the space from the secure parking area. This area has wooded trails as well as cleared areas. Densely wooded areas and thickets all around. TICK PREVENTION IS A MUST! There are no pesticides or herbicides used here. Only natural horticulture vingear for spot weed control. This area is located beside Bear Creek and when the creek is high or after a good rain IT WILL BE MUDDY on the right side of the property! Dry creekbed located across the back of the property. **The Creek is NOT accessible from the fenced property** -Water hose on site for use. Dog shower/bath area to the right of the shed with dog wash hose attached, shampoo, and wash shammy. Or you may bring your own bath supplies! Big back yard fenced in all around. But if you have a fence jumper the back fence is only 4 foot at this time. We will be making it taller at some point. We do have a ground hog that lives under our shed so we request that he be left alone, he won't come put when you are in the yard. Please feel free to chase all the squirrels out of the yard. There is a canopy and table and chairs and a hose.

We are a licensed in-home boarding facility. Come use our fenced in yards for your dog(s). We will have all dogs up, so your dogs can have their personal time. We have two fenced in areas. You can rent one or both. One side is a normal fenced in backyard and the other is great for dogs that need to get rid of their energy. That side includes astroturf, kid's play equipment they can jump on or through and a play pool. We will even pick up your dog's poops for them.
