To be included at a minimum and with such rules stated herein in this document, the most significant rules follow common sense, but it is also expected that guests will be respectful of our land and property, and that of our neighbors,’ - keep all 4 gates locked at all times - toss dog waste into our woods or the trash bin using the provided shovels and rakes (not over the fence into the neighbors’ wooded areas) - make every effort to keep your dog(s) from damaging plants and plantings - leave the property as you found it (return furniture to original places, for instance) - report any damages or concerns

Hi, I’m Sherri Walker and am married to David Haffermehl… 35 years now and still going strong. We raised our two sons here, Justin and Mitch, and have had the pleasure to supplement our family with countless dogs and a couple of cats. We adopt mostly senior dogs, but this time we fell in love with an adult dog. His name is Sammy (a rescue from Texas); hence, we named this Sniffspot “Sammy’s Playground” for him. I enjoyed two very successful careers before becoming disabled. I was an environmental consultant responsible for assessing and remediating hazardous waste sites. Then, I was the Director of Regional Economic Development for the Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce where the focus was on transportation improvements. Still disabled, my life is now fairly quiet and relaxed, as I do some babysitting and work for a dear friend who owns Happy Tails Doggy Daycare (Franklin). My volunteer work focuses primarily on collecting donations of dog items for PAWS New England, a large dog rescue organization (PawsNewEngland.com). I will happily accept donations on your behalf- dog and puppy food are paramount!! You can always donate through their website and learn of other opportunities to get involved, including how to become a foster.
