55 Lovely yard with lots of shade for those warm days and sun sensitive fur babies.
55Beautiful yard with lots of little trails my dog loved exploring! Nice seating area in a lush garden to sit while your dog sniffs around.
55This is such a beautiful garden! Highly recommend visiting, especially for low key dogs that love exploring like mine. Really appreciated the well maintained bark paths, peaceful atmosphere, patio chairs, toys and water bowl. Hoping to go back soon!
55Not too big, but cute and a lot of places for the pups to have a snifari!
55Such a fun spot! My pup enjoyed running around all the trails and playing a bit of find the ball. Great spot to stretch the legs.
55A great spot close to home with nice paths through cute vegetation. My dogs had a nice time sniffing all the plants. Unfortunately one decided to dig a hole by the garden but the host was understanding.
45Nice spot. Lots of bark chips, so not muddy. will be much better in spring/summer when all the plants are blooming. My dog loved sniffing everything! A small yard, so not the best place if your dog needs to run.
55Another great visit to this spot. It was raining so it’s nice to have a covered porch while the pooches have fun! We shall come back soon!
55The dogs had a great time!
55We love stopping by this garden to let the pups run and chase each other. They absolutely love zig-zagging around the pathways. This spot has quickly become one of our regular treats for the dogs. Thanks for sharing such a fun space!

Jasper Memorial Sanctuary NOW OPEN

**Finally, Jasper Memorial Sanctuary is ready to host dogs. The recovery of this area following the January storm has been extensive. Please be mindful of the scope of the damage and tread lightly to allow the land to recover. As new trees and shrubs are planted in the fall, please ensure that they are not damaged by dogs. There will be ongoing logging on most weekdays on our property and adjacent neighbor's property. I will keep the Sanctuary closed during some of this time as the logger brings his dog to work. The cost to recover/rebuild Jasper Memorial Sanctuary was extensive. Material costs were over $5000. Labor costs, had I hired all the hours worked, are over $15,000. The price increase for utilizing the Sanctuary is small in comparison to the expenses incurred from the loss. Thank you to all my amazing guests who have given your dog(s) opportunity to find their calm within by visiting Jasper Memorial Sanctuary. It is amazing to see your dogs and you finding your inner peace. Thank you too for following all of the rules to keep this SS sustainable into the future. The fee set is the amount needed to allow me to keep this site open and provide improvements when needed. (I understand other sites charge less, but I've learned charging less is not financially sustainable. Hosts do not earn what they charge). I love hosting new and returning guests. RECENT IMPROVEMENTS/RESTORATION: Approximately 80 damaged/downed trees removed. 40 uprooted stumps ground out 340' of new 5' fencing installed 140' fencing repaired New entrance gate/location created 100s perhaps 1000s of poison oak dug out (it's still present, just fewer) Culvert installed at entrance with gravel path to gate (pending) New signs installed A 6'x6' sand box has been added. Please encourage digging in this location only. Discourage digging in all other locations for the safety of everyone and the preservation of the environment. A poop bag dispenser has been installed on a post near the gate and will be kept filled. MEMBERSHIP AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST to repeat/returning guests after we have met. Please message me if interested. Jasper Memorial Sanctuary, named in memory of my soul dog Jasper, is no larger than 1.3 acres in and fully fenced.
