55My dog had a great time critter-hunting in a marshy area (frozen and snowy), running at full speed around an open field on a snowmobile path, running at lower speeds through deep snow (great exercise!), and working on maintaining attention on me near horses!Stephanie J.

55This was my first time using this app and we had an awesome first experience at this location. Lots of space for my dog to sniff, explore, and play! And there was nice trails for us humans to walk along. This location had clear directions and signs so it was super easy to figure out where to go. Will definitely be going back!!Bethany K.

55Stacy was a fabulous host and her property is dog heaven! One of our dogs is dog reactive so this was perfect for her to exercise off leash. The trails were shoveled and there were toys and blankets scattered around. Thank you Stacy and we will be back for sure!Helen I.

55What a haven for our reactive pup to have a veritable off leash dog park to explore, sniff and exercise! The plowed paths are super convenient for us to tromp alongside Marley so we can experience off leash dog walking as a family. Thank you, Stacy. We will be back. 😊🐕❤Susan S.

55Stacy's yard is the perfect space to have a distraction free get away with my dog. She was kind enough to let me know that the area was muddy long before my visit so that I'd be prepared and was kind enough to leave a towel for me use to clean off my dogs paws before he got back in the car. Will definitely be coming back!Sade F.

55There is something so spiritually freeing when dogs get to run off-leash. I used to spend a couple of hours of most days at the Minnehaha dog park along the Mississippi when my dog Wiley was younger, before Diya joined us. While Wiley either ignored or played nicely with pretty much every dog, Diya is “very dog selective” and will never have trustworthy recall on top of it. So I have really missed those long, light walks, and regret that Diya has missed out on that freedom. Which brings me to my review. This Sniffspot really is a jewel box of a private dog park—beautiful and varied, full of smells, paths to romp down, and brush to explore, with toys and a nice bench too. It’s a perfect size, big enough for Diya to independently race and wander in and out of sight, and securely fenced. Wiley appreciated the fine selection of sticks available for chomping. On my end, I felt the stress of a busy work weekend melt away in the dappled sun as I watched my dogs enjoying themselves. I know both Diya and old man Wiley would rate this near the top of their 2021 experiences to date. When our hour came to an end, none of us wanted to leave, so I extended our visit for another hour. It was well worth the drive from St. Paul and I’m sure we’ll be back for more sniffs soon!Michelle O.

55We have not been able to have our 200lb mastiff off leash in an area this big in so long! We adore the field and Stacy went above and beyond to ensure our reactive boy didn’t have to meet anyone beforehand. We were especially impressed with the added security of the clips on all the gates. It brought us so much peace of mind! There were also lots of toys for our pup to play with! He especially enjoyed chasing the soccer ball around. We will definitely be back for more off leash time soon! Maggie P.

FAQ about our Pine City dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 94% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Pine City area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 24 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 3 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
