GRAND OPENING MAY 2024! Entry passes are just $7 per visit until the end of May. Price goes up to $12 June 1st. Hello sweet people and your lovely dogs! Our SniffSpot meadow is now open, Thank you for your patience being on the waitlist. We needed to grow some tall grass in the pasture for the sheep to take a turn rotating and cut down the grass for your dogs, and they’ve now done their job and we’re all ready for you. In the calendar you will see bookings available until July 30. We will open up August bookings next week. There will be times - usually, long weekends - that the meadow is closed to dogs as we host workshops here and this meadow is used for camping. August long weekend and September long weekend, 2024 will be closed. We are so excited to welcome you here! Once you book, please tell us a little bit about your dog and their needs. We’d love to hear feedback about the meadow and anything we can do to make it a great experience for your pup and you. GETTING HERE 9420 West Saanich Rd - This is the first driveway north of Ardmore golf course on the west side of West Saanich. - Drive up the long driveway, take the sudden left turn at the farmhouse, and straight ahead another 3 metres is the SniffSpot meadow -Park there (you'll see a chalkboard sign) - The meadow is on your left AMENITIES The meadow has water from both a hose and a spigot just outside at the front, where you park. An electric outlet is stationed just under the water source for charging devices. There is a dog water bowl inside the fence and a couple larger farm dishes for small dogs who like splashing around. Garbage is in the large blue bin clearly marked at the entrance to the meadow. Put dog waste in the garbage bin, not the compost bin.
We live on a 4.5 acre farm in Silverdale which has great land to run your pup in our horse stables (no horses) and in our pasture. 40 chickens live on the property but they are protected from dogs and other furry friends that visit the property. We have a red fence that leads to our entry which is gated, plenty of parking, toys, and towels once you open the gate along with complimentary eggs to go as long as our hens are laying! Find us on IG for more pup-dates: @EvergreenFarmFamily

***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** Hi everyone! My name is Robyn and I run a local pet care business in the Westshore called Island Time Pet Care. I offer dog walks, small-group boarding, and pet sitting services. When I’m not boarding any pups, I’d love to open my yard and patio space for other pups to enjoy. I live in a quiet neighbourhood, however there is some construction going on in the lot behind my home! There is a large bedrock that runs along one side of the backyard, which makes for some great exploring. There is a blackberry grove next to my yard which is frequented by various wildlife, so there is always lots to smell back there. Please note there is a significant set of stairs you need to go down to reach the lawn area from the patio. The yard is surrounded by 6ft fences, and there is one section that is steep rock - this could potentially be climbed by a VERY determined pup so please keep that in mind. I’m happy to do what I can to make your time here as safe & fun as possible, so please feel free to reach out with your queries & I’ll try my best to accommodate!
***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** Our park is a former equestrian riding ring that has 2x4 mesh all around. We are in a quiet neighborhood on a no through road.
This is a beautiful park with room to throw the ball and a loop trail to race around.
A .63 acre dog sanctuary for you and your pup. The yard is well maintained with dog friendly grass and has incredible views of the Hood Canal and Puget Sound. If you're interested, there is private beach access for you and your pup to explore miles of beach (public but almost always empty). There are numerous dog toys available and a massive 6+ person, dog friendly couch you can relax on and watch the canal when you need a break! Regarding the beach, there are approximately 50 steps which you will need to climb up and down to access the beach so please wear proper footwear. As this is on the Hood Canal and not a lake or a pond, tides impact the size of the beach. If you are hoping to walk endless miles of beach, the tide will need to be at 2ft or below. Anything under 4ft will give you a massive area (probably 1/2 mile or more) and almost guaranteed private area as only people with stairs can access the beach at this tide level. Though the beach is open at any point, I think the maximum height you would probably want to go is about 6.5ft. This still gives you and your dog a decent sized area to play in (approximately 500ft by 30ft or 1/2 acre). Photos 16 and 17 show the beach at 6.25ft with a very large sandy area for you and your pup to play in. Anything above 6.5 ft is not recommended as the beach just gets thinner and thinner, but you're able to try if you want. (no refunds given if you don't like what you find). You are responsible for checking out the tides before you go. Legally, I can't recommend any specific source for you to use, but you might find good information Googling "tide chart port ludlow". Regarding ADA Accessibility, my property is on a gently sloping hill. To access it, there are 2 very wide concrete steps to get to the grass. This would be doable for someone on crutches and probably ok for a regular wheelchair if you had a second person to help lower you to each step and pull you up. It's definitely not accessible to a motorized wheelchair. Sorry.
We have almost an acre fenced yard by the Silverdale dog park. We own three dogs. Two labs and one Jack Russell. There will be lots of smells in our yard. We have water access, a kitty pool you can fill on the hot days, a table so you can bring lunch while your pups play and some toys for your pup to play with. Our dogs are always locked up and away from the windows and doors during your visit.
My yard is 0.39 acres and fully fenced. I have a small pool that can be filled up for the dogs as well as a water bowl that will be sanitized after every visit. I have lots of toys, balls and chuck-its. I do have three dogs but they would be kept inside while you are here.
Fully fenced back yard! Tons of room to run. Play set for the kiddos, and a canopy with chairs.
2.5 acres, partially fenced. We are close to two different lakes, including one right a-crossed the street. We have friendly dogs, separate entrance off Holly Road. Hammocks on the property and places for you to choose to hang out :) we do have a season creek. I've said our property should be a dog park, this is a super cool idea, and we are excited to be a part of it. We look forward to meeting new people. To make it even more exciting right down the road is Scenic beach (Google it). It's totally worth the trip even if you don't stop here. 30 seconds away there is a country store, and the local watering hole (restaurant) Come enjoy this beautiful adventure for both you and your dogs! Also, we are new to this but will be improving! So please give recommendations!!
I am a dog mom and my dog passed away of a stroke in Feb. This will be therapy for me and the pets who come with their people. My dog was dog reactive and still loved to go places, so we will be adding water features, chairs, mowing, etc. in the near future, so check back soon!
Private secluded 3 acres 95% fenced. Part woods, part cleared. Nice flat grass area as well as slopes and woods to explore.
I’ve got a medium-sized sort of wrap-around yard that is good for all doggies! There’s a little bit of dirt and mostly grass! Nice trees lining the fence for shade and comfort! Gets sunshine for the morning and mid parts of the day! Sheltered mostly from wind and rain. Good for small dogs and medium-sized dogs! Just looking to being able to use my backyard a bit more as well as meeting new pups!! I’m an extreme dog lover and would kill to have a bunch of em in my back yard! Thanks!
