Beautiful 1 acre, fully fenced yard for your dog/dogs to roam. Comfortable seating for you with plenty of dog toys to play and entertain!!
Come hang in our dog-friendly, accessible yard and let your pup get some energy out! Our dog lives here and loves it, but is willing to share ☺️
Five acres of land that includes private trail, heavy wooded areas, and also open areas of grass. Perfect for dogs to explore and play for as long as they want.
The grounds where I live are sure to make a great decompression/sniffy walk! All dogs who visit must be up to date on vaccinations with a current fecal test. No severe dog aggressive dogs please.
This area is super spacious for training, playing, and relaxing. If your dog likes to dig, there’s a spot for that! We half roughly .5 acre of unfenced land for dogs to roam on a long lead. There’s also “trails” behind the house if you want to be adventurous! A perfect spot for shy and reactive dogs.
Pollinator Sanctuary in creation. Focus on native plants and landscapes.
I did not know that this was a thing so please excuse the yard if it is not up to par. Right now it is just a grassy fenced in spot. As I learn more I will try to make upgrades.
Payton’s playground is a spot where you can spend personal time with your dog by yourself without having to worry about others intruding in on your play session. We have agility equipment, pools, ramps, weaving poles, water bowls and more available at your disposal. It’s a great environment to be in & is directly adjacent to one of the best doggy daycares in Chicago, PupStars Pet Care. Feel free to stop in for a free goodie bag & to ask any questions you might have. Thanks & we’ll see you all soon!
**We have added OPEN reservations from 8:30am to 5:30pm weekdays for people that would like to visit the yard prior to deciding if they would like to become full access Members.** We LOVE sharing our space with multiple dogs from the community however, it is hard on the grass. For this reason, we have limited our evening & weekend availability to Members Only to decrease the wear and tear on the yard. With the fluctuation in weather please be aware: If outdoor parks are wet and muddy ~ areas of our yard will be also. We cannot control the effects of rain. Please always use the provided carabiner to lock the gate as pictured after you and your dog(s) enter. We have installed multiple methods of LIGHTING for evening reservations. Easy instructions for use will be sent when you make the reservation. We do have a SHADE/RAIN SHELTER! :) WATER: We provide fresh water every 24hrs located in(or next to) the CORONA Cooler. PARKING: One FREE private parking space located at the entrance from the alley at the back of the lot. Since some guests were having a tough time with the parking space, we did finally WIDEN the entrance. We park 2 Honda CRV's back there daily without issue. Fully fenced 6 foot secure and private green space. Large open lot with seating and plenty of room to play fetch or just relax off leash. Easy street parking, no permit required. Any Extras will be located in the storage bin on the east wall of the lot. We have evening hours 6:00p to 9:30p for Members Only, 7 days per week.
Notice: We are closing the spot on May 23rd for maintenance. Sorry for the inconvenience. Grass and rain: Please keep in mind that during moderate to heavy rains the area without mulch can get muddy. Beginning May of 2024, we will post pictures daily to our Instagram account showing the condition of the spot. As you can imagine, due to the wear and tear the spot gets, it’s difficult to keep the grass alive. However, we do our best to reseed during the spring. BarkPark sits right across the street from The Salvation Army Freedom Center. This spot is fully fenced (chain link and wood) with the side facing the sidewalk being 5ft and the rest of the fence being 6ft. There is a dual-gate entrance to the spot for a safe entry and exit. Street parking is available. There is plenty of seating at this spot with shade throughout the day. There's a rain barrel filled with water for dogs to hydrate and cool down. We have water bowls available. GIANT sandbox that's great for digging and playing; no digging elsewhere please. On hot days, we do our best to keep the sand wet. Trash can onsite. We have poop bags available in two different areas for easy access. Half of this spot is covered with grass and the other half with playground mulch. This spot is big enough to get a good fetch session in or to just let the zoomies out. We also recently added agility equipment. We hope you and your four-legged friend/s have an exceptional time during your visit and choose to come back. Lost toys and items: Due to the amount of visits we get we aren’t able to track which items belong to which guest. If you’ve lost a dog toy or other item, please reach out and we’ll do our best to retrieve it and hold it for you. If you don’t reach out, we’ll hold onto it for a week and then add it to the Lost and Found Toy Box. Water: The dog drinking water gets changed 1-2 times per week, depending on the temperature/usage. During the winter months we empty the water barrel. If your dog/s require water during the winter months, we ask that you please bring your own. Food: You’re welcomed to bring food but we ask that you please clean up as a courtesy to other guests. Future additions: We hope to add more amenities over time. Our plans are to add more sand to the sandbox in late April or early May of 2024. We’re also hoping to have on-site parking around mid summer of 2024. If you have any suggestions for amenities, we’d love to hear your feedback.
Nice sized backyard with 6 foot chain link fence and 3 gates. The middle gate isolates the backyard. There is access to a water hose along w table and two chairs. Plenty of shade and room to run, both neighbors have dogs but they are monitored and well behaved. Please contact me with any questions.
Farmland Property has two farm fields, Woods with trails. 10 Achres of grass and Salt Creek in back of the house/yard. (Fallen Trees down in trails from last tornado. All pets, teens and children must stay with owner at all times! Enjoyed by our dogs for 15 years, our yard is a good size for zoomies, grass naps, and squirrel & bird watching. We have a table with comfy chairs and a kiddie pool. A crate of our guardian angel’s toys await your pooch. The neighbors on each side are dog free. You can spend time without a barking contest ensuing.
In addition to the 1.3 acre fully fenced area we have a 2 acre field with trails that isn’t fenced. It’s a different environment full of sights, sounds, and scents for you dog to enjoy. I have a couple long leashes available for you to use so your dog has some freedom to explore.
Cicada update: as of Thursday night? I’ve seen literally 3 cicadas, but I guess that could change any day. 🤞 Large yard right on the river. No access to the river (yard is fully fenced), but human views of the water, ducks, other birds, and wildflowers on the bank. Pesticide, and herbicide, free lawn but various flowers, shrubs (and weeds) on the edges. Lots of wildlife in the area. Birds visit, bunnies, squirrels, etc. more than your average Chicago yard. End of dead end with pretty good privacy. There are 3 big dogs at the house across the alley, but they are also well fenced. They are out on occasion, but usually not for long and I can’t guarantee their schedule. The view is mostly blocked by garbage cans and bushes, but not completely, so this may not be the place if your pup is super reactive. There are 2 Adirondack chairs, feel free to move around into sun or shade or lay out a blanket or whatever you need to be comfortable. There is stainless steel water bowl and some toys. Feel free to use the hose by the stairs to fill up the water bowl hose the dogs off or whatever. You can pull it out into the middle of the yard, just put your foot on top of the reel to get better leverage and please reel back in after use. Chain link fence on most and iron fence at front. Not ideal for small dogs or escape artists that can squeeze under or through fence. See photos for details of fence and if your dog would try to squeeze through.
Our yard is a longer more narrow yard which allows the dogs a little more distance for their runs. There is landscape bordering the fence and a garden in the front of the yard next to a yoga studio. There are areas to explore and areas for both dog and owner to relax, and a secure dog run that can be used for training. There is some agility equipment, a small plastic pool, as well as a sandbox and a deck with a roof in the dog run to help keep the dogs cool on a hot day. Water(hose), dog bowl(s), toys and towel(s) to dry the dogs off will be provided.
We host a very cozy and quiet privacy backyard. We have 3 dogs that love to get full run of the backyard space because of how big it is and how comfy we have made it. It features a relaxing porch with lots of seating and sun shade over the full coffee table and dining table equipped with an outlet and wifi for doing work on your laptop or anything else you'd need it for. Hammock is free to use. Shed filled with dog toys and children toys available as well. We have 2 large sandboxes for kids and a zipline swing playset. There is a fresh water hose on the back of the house available at any time. I will try to provide outdoor dog water bowls and treats as they are available. My casa is your casa. Enjoy🐶🐾
December discount code for NEW visitors. DEC23 to get $2 off I do have 1 dog, 2 cats and 2 kids that will be kept inside during visits. Small dogs may be able to fit under the gate on the driveway. If needed, we can arrange something to block the entryway during visitation.
