55Perfect fenced in area with plenty of room to run with toys, water bucket and hose, and pool bags all along the fence for convenience. Had a picnic table to sit on and a little shelter with a chair. It would be nice if there was another chair. Other than that it was perfect! A little wet in some spots so wear boots but not too bad.
55Nice big fenced in area for dogs to run around in. The owner is friendly, greeted us, and was very nice. She put out water for the dogs and has toys for them to play with. We will be back!
55Such a great place to bring an active doggy. Plenty of toys, space to run, friendly and helpful host and very well fenced in area.
55Stopped here to exercise our dog on a road trip! The space was large and private, great for running around. Christel was easy to communicate with and included thoughtful touches to the park (towel, toys, water). Would come back next time we are in the area!
55Christel was super kind and had everything we could have wanted. Shadow will be a very tired puppy tonight.
55Spacious, clean and beautiful as always!
55I had the pleasure of returning with my five standard poodles again to this wonderful property. We had a blast on the open acreage! There are fun, mowed paths to explore, tall grass ļæ¼ and plenty of space toļæ¼ run!
55Lives up to the name - our doggy had a very fun time! Even in the rain Christel came to meet us to explain the site. It was great to have a secure area to let Joey have a run around. Toys, water and a paddling pool available too.
55Christelā€˜a spot was great! Our dogs who do not have a lot of chances to be off leash had a blast. There was a pool and host available as well as toys. It was exactly what we were looking for.
55I canā€™t imagine a better place to bring my five Standard Poodles! This extremely large, open meadow/ field was picture-perfect and completely fenced! There were fun, meandering paths throughout for my goofy dogs to chase after each other AND tall grass to leap through! Fresh, cold water, poop bags, and even towels were provided by the friendly host. If you are wondering if this would be worth the visit, the answer is YES!

Description

Our property is 20 acres with a two-acre fenced field for the dog park and many acres of woods. We are hoping to create some walking trails in the woods soon for your use. The field is surrounded with maple and pine trees, and is a very private and peaceful setting. Hose is available to rinse off if needed. This is perfect for shy or reactive dogs who need freedom to run and play with you without other dogs or humans. After rainy day rain boots šŸ„¾ recommended.

We are a family who lives in the country because we love being in nature, and we wanted our dogs to have freedom to run and play without distractions or worry. We have a German Shepherd and a Black Lab. They love to play with other dogs if you are looking for playmates for your dog, but they also have their own yard and would not need to have any interaction with you if you prefer. We have such a beautiful space in the foothills of central Maine, we wanted to share it with other dogs and their owners who may need private sessions for shy or reactive dogs. They all need fun and exercise! We have a large field (about 1 acre) that will be fenced by May 1, and a natural pond you are welcome to use, though it is not in the fenced area. We also have woods and are working on creating walking trails in the woods, but that part is not fenced. We are new at this, but hope to provide shade and seating, and optional refreshments for humans and dogs if desired.

There is a rope across the driveway as you go in. If the rope is up, just lay it on the ground and drive through. Follow Sniffspot directional signs to the parking area in the lower field behind the barn. Follow driveway towards the back of the barn. Turn left into the upper field, then right into the lower field where parking is available at the start of the entrance point to the trail. (There are signs directing you to parking and trails). You'll have access to approximately 10 acres of woods trails, a few streams; one with a bridge and others with a culvert, several rest areas with chairs/bench, a field by the parking area, and a dirt road that is also a snowmobile trail in the winter. Parts of the woods trails can be muddy in some areas, especially after a bit of rain. Wear appropriate outdoor shoes and clothing. You can also expect tall grass on parts of these trails. Many different types of wildlife are also present. (These are trails in the woods on a large acreage in rural Maine). You could see deer, moose, bear, coyote, fox, skunk, raccoon etc., just to name a few. The trails are well marked with directional signs. Please stay on marked trails. Expect your dog(s) to be wet if they love water! We have towels available, located at the parking area to dry them off if youā€™d like. (We have labs....They're always wet, but enjoying life and having so much fun!) They may even get muddy. There are several streams they can rinse off in if you'd like. There are also treats for your pups, dog toys, bottled water for dogs and people, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, bug spray and a first aid kit available for you to use, located at the parking area. We are adding more amenities and improvements as we go! Enjoy our little slice of heaven here in Monson, Maine and have fun being outdoors in nature with your pup!šŸ˜Š
