55My dogs loved running around here! And it was fun to walk for me and my sister!
55Great sniffspot we definitely will be back!
55Loved it!
55Great spot! Lots of good sniffs and open space. There are shade and cool areas for hot days, even chairs. Toys are available and they are marked clean and to be cleaned and I like that!! 4 paws up, I will be back
55Beautiful spot! Appreciate the seating so much. My pup was very happy here.
55Tons of accommodations for our doggos and some for the people! My dogs had a blast here running and exploring and sniffing. A beautiful quiet spot. Highly recommend.
55This was a great place for a dog to run around and play fetch! I was so impressed by the organized and clean space set up by the host. We will be back!
55Best sniff spot ever! Thank you so much - Devante and Hannah ❤️
55The host was super sweet and provided us everything we could’ve needed for our doggy to have a great time. The property is nice and quiet, and a great place for pups to run around and smell all the smells. Would absolutely recommend!
15I never got to enjoy it with my dogs. Gate was shut and a dog was in the yard

Description

Beautiful sloped pasture with some woods at the lower end. 1.5 acres. If desired, you can drive right into the pasture and secure the gate behind you before letting your dog(s) loose. It changes by the season. In summer, the grass grows tall and you can enjoy the shade of alders in the lower portion. A seasonal creek runs through it in winter and spring. Your dog may find the scent of deer where they've bedded down at night, though it's unlikely that any will be present for your visit. You will see that I've planted and protected some fruit trees and native plants here and there. A sheltered area allows you to sit in the shade or out of the rain, and that's where you'll also find most amenities, such as toys and water. There are two driveways onto the property. You want the north one with the sign "Ericksen." After driving up that driveway, you'll see a "sniffspot" sign on the gate into the pasture. Please do not enter the farmhouse yard. The residents of the farmhouse are not the sniffspot hosts. For any questions, issues, or suggestions about how I can improve this spot, please drop me a message or call me, Annika, at 253-346-5863. New: accepting donations for COMPOST, like leaves, lawn clippings, pumpkins, newspaper, fruit/veg peels, coffee grounds, annual plants including tomatoes, used potting soil, tree trimmings, etc. You'll see the compost receptacle as you come up the driveway.

Cleanliness

Hazards

There is tall grass and bumpy terrain, so there are risks of twisting an ankle or tripping. There are some prickly things like blackberries. There is a seasonal creek in winter/spring. Guests almost never book for hours after dark, but if you'd like to try it, be aware that there is no lighting and you would need excellent flashlights, sturdy shoes, and perhaps a light-up collar on your dog.

I love dogs and also value the preservation of natural/green spaces, so running a Sniffspot is very rewarding!
