Just about 10 acres of open rolling prairies, creek, and forest for you and your furry one(s) to roam. There is poor cell reception at this Sniffspot, so it is recommended that guests screenshot the picture of the boundaries (picture #2) to reference when you are here. Sturdy shoes and pants are recommended. This is a natural forage prairie area. There are blackberry bushes along the road and some fencing, but gaps do exist so exercise caution. That said, there is plenty of room far away from the road to play fetch, run around, explore etc. Stay to the right of the power lines when viewing from the parking area. Please try to stay out of the muddy swale area. The best place to cross this area is at the bottom (see picture #2) where the creek starts. Booking availability times are M-Sun 8AM-6PM.

Welcome to our walking trail! Enjoy a quiet, peaceful walk with your pups! You can begin the trail through the Christmas trees or end the walk there. There’s plenty of room to roam and enjoy your time!

We have a barn for indoor training, lots of toys, chuck-it station...as well as 2 grassy acres of running space for your pups! We are also curently modifying the 60x80 sandy horse arena to use for obedience/agility training. We have reactive dogs ourselves so we understand those that need a PRIVATE space to exercise their dogs. Our 3 dogs will be inside during your playtime, please try to keep dogs off front porch to eliminate ours barking and distracting your pups fun day. Dogs are curious, almost ALL of them explore the front porch… please don’t stress over this (we’re not), we just ask to redirect so our dogs don’t distract yours with barking.

Added an outhouse with hand sanitizer, covered seating area, privacy screen along fence to help with anyone walking dogs down the street or the neighbors concrete business. Mostly quiet neighborhood where you can feel safe to let your dog run and dig. Large playground tunnel equipment for your doggy to play in! Don't let the darkness defeat you taking your canine out to play! Installed 3 street lights to keep the early darkness at bay. Light timer switch is on the left inside the dog two way gate. Lights take a couple minutes to get fully bright. Now you can play with your dog from 6am to 9pm. Enjoy this private area that you can let your dog off leash without having to worry about anyone interrupting your time with your dog. Picnic table with cover. Water dish, poop bags, waste bin, sticks and balls with a chuck it at entrance. Coordinate with a friend and meet here to let your dogs play together while you catch up. We charge $13 for the hour space rental so, *please mark only one dog even if you are bringing more* The space has a long grassy open [360 feet] area to use a chuck it for dogs that love to fetch. A large cedar provides shade on half of the property while the other half is in the sunshine. This is a fun spot for dogs to exercise their legs and noses. Please check back for future upgrades. Fido's is your perfect country getaway! This is a fantastic property for your fur baby to enjoy their very own backyard oasis. Have a seat on the deck that overlooks the creek, mature trees, assorted fruit trees, & open huge yard! Treat your pupper to our 2.66 acres, which is completely fenced with an electronic gate and private off-street parking.  It is conveniently located about 5 miles from hwy 101, just 10 minutes from downtown Shelton, 30 minutes from Olympia, and 25 minutes from Hoodsport. You and your furry friend will have ample space to run around in with plenty of sniffing opportunities. We offer memberships to our location!! For dog lovers who choose to become members, you receive daily member's only hours from: 9am-12 noon, ALL day Sunday, free beverages from the fridge, the use of our pet washing station. Members also receive a lower rate that's never subject to a price increase. Included amenities: wi-fi, treats, water/ water bowls, toys, towels, ball pit (weather appropriate), hand sanitizer, poop bags, & poop trash bin!!!! I apologize in advance if guests don't pick up the poop after their four-legged friends. I am not always available between bookings to police and clean up after guests. Pay it forward: if you see poop, pick it up for everyone to enjoy their visit ❤️ you may have missed one yourself and the guest after you will do the same 🥰

Beautiful sloped pasture with some woods at the lower end. 1.5 acres. If desired, you can drive right into the pasture and secure the gate behind you before letting your dog(s) loose. It changes by the season. In summer, the grass grows tall and you can enjoy the shade of alders in the lower portion. A seasonal creek runs through it in winter and spring. Your dog may find the scent of deer where they've bedded down at night, though it's unlikely that any will be present for your visit. You will see that I've planted and protected some fruit trees and native plants here and there. A sheltered area allows you to sit in the shade or out of the rain, and that's where you'll also find most amenities, such as toys and water. There are two driveways onto the property. You want the north one with the sign "Ericksen." After driving up that driveway, you'll see a "sniffspot" sign on the gate into the pasture. Please do not enter the farmhouse yard. The residents of the farmhouse are not the sniffspot hosts. For any questions, issues, or suggestions about how I can improve this spot, please drop me a message or call me, Annika, at 253-346-5863. New: accepting donations for COMPOST, like leaves, lawn clippings, pumpkins, newspaper, fruit/veg peels, coffee grounds, annual plants including tomatoes, used potting soil, tree trimmings, etc. You'll see the compost receptacle as you come up the driveway.

5 acres raw pasture partially fenced, and 1 acre manicured lawn area fenced. Beautiful setting, very private and easily accessible. 2 dogs live here- with enough notice they'll be out of sight or sound. If you're going to play in the big field, be prepared for it to be a little mushy... Rain boots will be best!
