Outside faucet with clean, potable water available along with several kiddie pools, benches, and playground equipment for the two-legged kids. Quiet private Oasis for guests, private 100% fenced yard, sloped grass yard with 3 patio area. A lot to sniff, a lot of stairs to work out those legs. Very clean yard since I pick up after my own dogs daily. You can sit and relax or enjoy your book or bring a date. Squirrels and birds will make your visit more exciting. We raise sheep and goats so you may see some sheep/goat manure in our fields. Our location is very private: our own driveway, off the main road, secluded behind neighboring horse farms. We have a walking/bike riding trail, dog sensory gardens, an orchard to pick fruit from when in season, splash pool, agility equipment, horses next door to get to know, meadows to play in and sometimes there are foster puppies.

Welcome to the Rock Quarry Rd. - Private Dog Park in Raleigh! We have 1 acre fully fenced in with lots of room and enrichment opportunities for your dog! We cannot wait to share our space with you! ABOUT THE SPACE The yard is fully fenced in. We have a 4ft wire fence around the property. The back fence is a 6ft privacy fence. The largest opening is 5in at the bottom of the fence. There are no shared fence lines, our yard is ideal for reactive or sensitive pups. *There is construction happening at the property next door to us, so if you book during weekdays there may be some construction/machinery noise & distractions* 🥇We officially have a beginners agility course! It includes 3 jumps, 1 hoop jump, a tunnel, and weave poles. We hope you and your pup love it! 🎾 The space comes with dog toys, tennis balls, place cots, digging sand, dog waste bags/ trash can, and a short but smell-filled nature “trail”. Our yard is filled with squirrels and birds and your dog will love following their scents through the brush. The area is made up of short grass, overgrown brush along the fence lines, and sandy soil. 🌳 Perfect shady spot for the summer! We have many mature trees which provide great shade but there are also large grassy spots where you can get full sun. A table and chairs are provided in the shade, as well as a covered area. 💧Water for dogs is provided, as is a water bowl. You’re welcome to use the hose to rinse your dog off but we ask that you don’t bath your dog or run the water for long periods of time. Our house runs on a small well so we have to reserve water. (The well is enclosed and located far outside of the fenced area). While we do live in the house on the property, it is very unlikely that you’ll see us. On weekends, Connor may be working in the shop building, but will not be loud and will remain out of the backyard. If you have an especially reactive pet, send us a message and Connor will take a break during your stay. We want to ensure that your time is as private as possible. :) Our own dog will be secured inside the house. We ask that you keep your dog away from the back door of the house. For safety, we do have security cameras located around the property. Our house is far back off of the road. When you enter the driveway, you will pass our neighbor who is located at the road. They have dogs that will likely bark when you drive past them. They are fully enclosed in a privacy fence and cannot be seen from our yard but they can be heard if they’re barking. Sweetwater Court Dog Playground is perfect for the pet who needs a break to run and play or for someone who needs safety for dogs and children to play. This is not just our yard; it is our field to the side of our house and a little more than half an acre is fenced. Another 5 1/2 acres offers privacy and serenity. Feel free to let your pet run through the fenced field and dig in the garden. We don’t mind! There is plenty of interesting areas for your pet to explore and run and a lot for them to sniff and explore. The field is mowed weekly and may have some bare spots, mud and occasionally dog poop. We are not UPSCALE. We are all about safe free time for you, your pet and family. ALL BREEDS WELCOME! Small dogs such as Havanese, terriers, and Bichons love our spot, as well as Labrador & golden retrievers, poodles, doodles, Portuguese water dogs, beagles, shepherds, pit bulls and mixed breeds. Just please let us know if there will be additional cars. Can we take pictures? YES, PLEASE DO. Is there an entrance fee for people? No, only dogs. Can we bring lunch? Yes, we have a picnic table. We also have a plentiful supply of water birds—herons, egrets, and more. Parking is on the left side of the road next to the fence. Please bring your own scoop and poop bags, water,and chairs. You’ll find room to RUN at our Hidden Pond Doggie Play Spot. Located just 1 minute from the center of the Wendell Falls sprawling development, we have about an acre and a half for you and your pups to run around and have fun. About half of it is mostly flat grassland with a slight rolling hill, and the other half is about knee-high to waist-high plants like tall grass, kudzu, and saplings. Your furry friends will love to explore! Down at the bottom of the hill near our neighbor’s little pond, and depending on recent rains, you can usually find about 300 square feet of muddy-puddle-goodness loaded with frogs and tadpoles to chase. Unfortunately the pond is NOT ours and we can NOT grant access to it for any humans or dogs. Please bring your own bags and clean up after your pets for a healthy and hygienic experience for everyone. Plenty of parking for up to 6 vehicles, so bring your friends and their dogs! Welcome to Koda and I's personal paradise, featuring several horses and a donkey! Stop by and visit us as a side quest so you can relax and enjoy the view in a peaceful, quiet countryside setting both you and your dog(s) will enjoy! Choose to either kick back and let your dog go full steam ahead in the .5 acre, four foot, fully fenced pup play yard, which has been vetted by small and large, puppies and seniors, high energy and couch potatoes alike or do some on leash training or long lead play in the accompanying open field next to the yard. Our yard has been tested (and approved) by Pomeranians, Yorkies, Beagles, Pitties, and Whippets, and is even horse proof! Natural grass fills the property, with only the occasional use of weed killer to keep up with property maintenance and stay on top of bugs. There are several huge shade trees that my pup and his friends enjoy laying under. If you are looking to desensitize your pup to horses, reach out and I may be able to arrange turn out so they can get up close and personal, while maintaining the barrier of the fence. We are a tiny suburban homestead just north of Selma, NC, a few minutes from exit 98 off hwy 95 and 30 minutes from Raleigh. We have an open cleared corner lot that offers lots of room to play with little distractions. The Sniffspot is located on the corner of Farmgate court and Country Day Circle, which is a perfect .3 mile circle. You are welcome to walk/run with your dog in our quiet and safe neighborhood.
