55Large area for dog to run around! No garbage can so keep that in mind. The pictures sent to me by the host of the areas to stay to and to park really helped! Jamie Z.

55It is a great spot for my reactive dog without having to travel too far. I would ask for a bowl for water to add and maybe some toys in case people forget. Overall Pluto gives 5 stars.Amanda A.

55I would recommend this place for anyone who has problems with their dog taking off and not coming back. Big enough for the dog to get their exercise and yet not to far for owner to walk around Eileen D.

55Really easy to find - absolutely beautiful and picturesque property. My dog definitely went for a swim in the pond - he drank some of the water, but so far he's fine. I could hear some dogs barking in the distance - my dog is quite reactive but it wasn't an issue as they weren't too close by/not visible. Don't forget poop bags! :) This is such a beautiful spot - it was a lovely place to spend one of the first warm and sunny days of the season! A huge thank you to the hosts for offering their property.Josselyn M.

55We really enjoyed the space. Our dogs loved sniffing around the pond and in the trees. They also loved how much green space there was to run. We were mindful to keep the boys away from the driveway and we felt very comfortable that they couldn’t “escape”. Thanks for having us! Heather F.

55Easy instructions. Large, hilly backyard with trees and obstacles to muck around. My dog loved it! She even cooled off in the little pond a few times. It’s not huge and doesn’t replace a dog park, but it was perfect for our needs.Steve R.

55Beautiful acreage, clean and lots of open space. I just really needed somewhere secluded and private with minimal distraction to work on a tandem leash for the first time with both dogs, this was perfect for that. I’ll likely book again soon for training purposes as one of my dogs is a working dog and comes with a lot of liability so a spaces like this are great for us. Only downside is the driveway to enter is a little rough and muddy and some of the grass is long enough to lose your dogs in for a brief second but otherwise loved it! Gage J.

55Beautiful acreage with tons of scenic views. So much room for the pups to run around and a lot of variety in the spaces for them to explore. Janice was also extremely accommodating to our family’s needs which was very much appreciated. We will definitely be returning! Marta C.

FAQ about our Edmonton dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 94% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Edmonton area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 21 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 4 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
