55This spot was PERFECT for my on leash reactive dogs. They got to run to
Their hearts content, sniff anything and everything and chase each other around without me having to worry about running into anyone. It was so nice they were able to just be dogs. The trails were steep but totally manageable! We will be back for sure. Emma B.

55Loved it! Your own private slice of Forest Park. Looking forward to going back.
Really beautiful property that slopes down to a lovely creek, with plenty to sniff along the way. Hosts have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into making this welcoming and fun. The main trails are well graded, wide and clearly maintained with rainy days in mind. Recommend still wearing sturdy shoes - especially if you plan to go on side trails. (There's a map at the parking area of the trails and then they have marked them along the way!) This also looks to be a well shaded location for when summer arrives.
The property has clear boundaries but not a literal fence the whole way like a dog park. It was sufficient to keep my adventurous hound from following her nose too far astray.
For Reactive Dogs: This was really private and once you get past the parking area, there really isn't an opportunity to see other people, cars, etc - truly is private. One of the dogs with us was reactive to strangers and the hosts were really accommodating to his needs. But really, the place is private enough there aren't going to be other people or dogs walking past - even where you park.
Looking forward to visiting again!Mandy S.

55Like others have mentioned, it was muddy in places but I made it through fine with my hiking boots. We made it through the trails pretty quickly but my dog loved it! Went through all of them a few times and hung out for about an hour. There’s a very sturdy fence around the property which is great because they have chickens and goats and other birds and my dog was very interested. Will definitely be back!Inga D.

55This was the perfect place to do some off leash hiking training with our pup. It is a gorgeous spot, albeit really muddy mid-winter. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back soon. Thanks for sharing your land! Trisha R.

55Huge property! I live in SW Portland and all of our dog parks are smaller than this property so it was a real treat for my doggy and me. It has some very boggy and muddy patches during rainy season so bring your mud/rain boots if you want to stroll the entire area. There are some grassy drier spots under big trees if you want to bring a camping chair and not walk in the muddy spots. There is a very sweet doggie there that your dog can play with (or not). She and my dog played chase and raced for a chuck-it ball almost the whole hour. There are 2 horses who are VERY accustomed to dogs. I loved petting them. My dog barked at them a bit and they didn't care. The owners will put them in the barn if you don't want them around, but they added a lot to the rural experience for me. Very personable family to greet you your first time. I felt very welcome!Elizabeth W.

55Zoe and Zander had their first adventure here Rick and family’s farm today and they were euphoric ! Plenty of room to run, climb on logged and become familiar with two very dog tolerant mellow horses. Bella the family dog came out for a bit to play and Zoey, their daughter enjoyed playing ( we all did safe distancing) with my pups as well. Rick was a welcoming host and we will be back again! Highly recommend! It is muddy in spots due to the wet weather( might want your rain boots or older tennis shoes but large grassy areas as well. Rick even let us use their hose to hose off the dogs paws before load up. My dogs left there exhausted and happy. Will take pics next time! Angela J.

55Miles and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. In addition to great hosts, friendly horses and a playful resident dog, the property fits the description of what I know Miles and all dogs for that matter would consider heaven on earth.Christine B.

55This is an amazing spot to let you dogs run around! Both of my high energy dogs were exhausted after an hour here. There is such a range of smells and terrain for them to explore, with horses, other dogs, grass, trees, and a pond. I would recommend this spot to anyone. Maddie T.

55This property is doggie Disneyland! We brought our 2 aussie mixes here and they had an absolute blast! Rick and his daughter, Zoe, were so friendly and welcoming when we arrived and showed us around the property (there’s plenty of room to maintain at least 6ft of space at all times) Our pups sprinted endlessly with their dog, Bella, played in a pond, and even got to meet one of their horses, Max. As some of the other reviews have mentioned, there are some muddy spots (the majority was perfectly dry) so be sure to wear appropriate shoes. We’ll definitely be back!Lisa B.

FAQ about our Forest Grove dog water parks
Are dog water parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. If you are worried about whether you can have an enjoyable water experience, just know that it is possible to have peace of mind when visiting dog waterparks by following basic safety guidelines. Some great ways to stay safe around water with your dog include learning canine CPR and keep an eye on your dog at all times to ensure they are not distressed. You can learn more about safety around water here.
How can I find the best dog water parks in Forest Grove?
How do I know if a dog water park works for my dog?
Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a dog park that works for your dog. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog water parks. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog water parks where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. Make sure to review the amenities of the spot to see what kind of water features are offered to make sure it works for your dog. If your dog is not a strong swimmer, then perhaps choose a dog water park with tamer water features rather than a river or beach, for instance. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions, and of course, checking water park hours.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot water park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Additionally, we recommend following our water safety guidelines.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot water park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
If you are planning an amazing dog water park party, each Sniffspot water park has their own rules regarding special events. Many water parks allow doggie birthday parties, training and other event types. Event organizers need to be responsible for their guests and event organizers should coordinate with the host regarding their fun party.
What are the coolest doggie water features available?
Sniffspot dog water parks can have a variety of features, everything from swimming pools to rivers to beaches to hoses and kiddie pools. If you are dreaming of a curtain of water, water tunnels, a ball pit pool, water slide ball pits, splash pools or other cool features, you can definitely find amazing features at Sniffspot dog water parks. Each water park is different, so check the details of the park to find the incredible dog water park of your dreams.
