55Had a great time! This time of year especially, be sure to check yourself and your dog for ticks. Found several on the dog and a few on humans.
55Great spot! The directions provided were perfect. My dog loved running along the path and puddles. Very relaxing spot.
55The property is vast and beautiful. I ridiculously got lost and ran over my time. Lisa and Mark were helpful and responded immediately to my text. I actually had to send them a photo of where I was and they texted me back immediately with clear options of how to get back to my car. They are wonderful; the setting is wonderful. I said it before; this place is a game-changer for my dog/s.
55This is a game- changer for my dogs’ lives!!! Thank you! Thank you!!!!!!!
55Very nice place, lots of space to roam. Be sure to be diligent now that it is warm, ticks galore even with fresh seresto collars. I think next time we’ll do more walking up and down the drive instead of looking for a grassy spot to do fetch. Thanks for having us!
55Steep but nice
55Beautiful weather and beautiful rural area to take your dogs! Easy to find and get into. We found 2 creeks for the dogs to wade in and get a drink. Creeks are on either side of the driveway. Found a great path on the right that wound down the mountain. The woods are wonderful, nice and shady and no sticker bushes!! Thank you for letting us enjoy your property!!!!
55A little tricky to find at first, but once we got there, we found a wonderful spot! Delightful host, and beautiful property. Our boy had the time of his life zooming through the meadow, gravel driveway, woods, and stream! I definitely recommend this place, we will be back for sure, as there is a ton to explore. (: tip: the stream opening is somewhere around the middle of the driveway!
55Fantastic and they are great communicators
55Dogs had a blast and loved the little creek! Thank you! Will definitely be back.

Description

Complete freedom to roam on 30 acres with a bonus that our land is surrounded by another 200+ acres of electric company owned land with no roads, no cars, no neighbors… just grass and forest. We have a Google Earth picture roughly showing the property lines and the driveway for you to use while exploring. We ask that you please stay out of the treeline to the right of the driveway as you drive up the hill It's the neighbor's property and it's marked by no trespassing signs. There is no house on the property. Just a camper and a shed. Park anywhere on the road or at the big circle at the top (near the farm office.) We have wifi near the brown shed at the top of the road. Wifi: HSH Password: HardStruggleHomestead Be forewarned that our land is on the side of a mountain so the walk up the driveway will be on a slow incline. Your dogs will be tired after this trip, we promise. As of April 1st there are no animals or livestock on site except for a few bee hives on the property. Most often, the owner is not on site but may do some maintenance time to time. If you see him, he will wave hello… Rest assured he will not approach your dogs unless you approach him. We understand reactive dogs.
