55Our dog loved this property! Lots of room to run, explore and play fetch! Directions were exact, and everything was clearly marked. There was a sitting area, some toys, poop bags and a trash on site. Would definitely recommend and would come back! Alex S.

55It is so worth the trip. The host has thought of everything to make you feel like a true guest on their property. From water in a few places, chairs, extra leashes. Our dogs enjoyed running and exploring especially the creek. Thank you and we look forward to coming again real soon. Susan S.

55Arrived a bit early, gate was closed but not locked, so assumed it was ok to let myself in. Since it was our 2nd time, I felt ok doing this, don’t know if I would’ve my 1st time.
Love this spot, the perfect dipping hole is Frida’s favorite part! She never wants to get out! 😊 Lennis M.

55Thank You for providing such an amazing Sniffspot! This is our first time here. I loved that we could walk the trails and let our dog sniff and explore leash free and not have the stress and anxiety of other dogs being around. We will definitely come back and make this a regular place to visit. Beth M.

55Our second visit, and we had a great time! Puppy zipped around the trails for awhile, and then played ball on the lawns by the buildings. It's a good spot for down time too, so I brought a book and read in the sun while the dog rolled in the grass and explored nearby. Suzanne S.

55This was such a nice spot to get away from it all. The time went past WAY too quickly as we just casually wandered the trails. It was SO NICE to be out and enjoying walking trails in the woods and not being on constant guard for some big dog to come around the corner without a leash. Laura C.

55This is going to be one of our favorite weekend Sniffspots. This was our first visit here but we loved everything about it including the beauty and tranquility of the place. We have not met our guests but we felt their warm welcome everywhere. There was a clean water ready for our dogs, clean toys, supplies for a camp fire, a little bucket for collecting the berries in the summer, and much more. We had no troubles orienting ourself. Everything including trails and Sniffspot boundaries was clearly marked. Our dog loved playing fetch in the grassy area in front of the house and off-leash exploration and playing hide and seek on the hiking trails behind the house. Klara H.

55This was such a relaxing space. It has a nice hill with lots of trails through the wooded space. My dogs had such a great time running along the trails. They loved playing above the little creek on the trail. They have put so much care in the space with everything you could possibly need. I can't wait to go back and explore with my dogs again.Tina P.

55Not only is the drive getting here from Seattle beautiful, the property is great with a lawn to run and lots of paths through the woods to explore. This was our second time out here and we love it. The hostess has set our chairs and water and it’s quickly become our favorite location. Highly recommended!Michael S.

55Great sniff spot with a small lawn area and a small amount of trails. Lots of forest to explore if you are down to go off the path... Which is my dogs favorite thing to do!
One neighbor house visible but there is some old fencing along that edge to keep pups from straying. Water is available too.
Will be back!Raina D.

55This is a great little space! Nice private setting to relax and romp with your pup. There is a groomed open field surrounded by trees and further back a small wooded area with some trails. The host was kind enough to leave fresh drinking water and some provisions like bug spray & chairs. Cooper had loads of fun sprinting around exploring all the smells and we both really enjoyed wandering around the woods. It was very warm and humid so we spent most of our time in the woods but, on a cooler day, the field would be the perfect place for fetch. One note: the trees provide an excellent boundary but there isn't any real fencing and the driveway into the property would be an easy escape...so a better spot for dogs with good recall. We had a fun, relaxing visit and definitely plan to be back!

55Great spot, with many thoughtful touches from the host.
The spot was easy to find as the gate had a small sniffspot logo. There was a clearing to park then an open area that was perfect for ball throwing. Extra supplies like camping chair, leash with poop bag, bug spray, sunblock and towel were also provided. The property has some elevation change which was great as it help tire my dog out more. There was a big water tower filled with cold water and even a bowl provided!
The property had some cleared pathways which led through the rest of the sniffspot. As some of the paths were being worked on, the property didn’t feel quite as big, but still plenty of space to explore and tire out my dog.
From downtown Seattle, took about 50 min on a weekend with no traffic. We felt immersed in the woods, away from the city.Cassandra C.

FAQ about our Kent dog hiking trails
Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.
