55A little bit of trepidation first time out, mainly because we weren't positive we were in the right place or where to park exactly. But, what an awesome spot! We spent most of this trip at the first beach area, which is nice and open. Dogs had a blast, especially playing in the creek. We can't wait to come back and explore some trails.
55This spot is amazing! The water is, for the most part, about a foot deep, which is the perfect depth for dogs to run in! We had so much fun and wish we could've stayed the whole day! Will definitely be booking again!

Hazards

Some sharp sticks, stumps and roots, in the woods and along creek. Bring water shoes in the summer. In the woods and by water always a chance you may run into a snake but usually hide or run away. Larger animals like coyotes and bears usually can smell you and your dogs and keep their distance. The beach area is quite safe and great for dogs to run around and play, especially with a ball or frisbee.
