55It was an awesome visit. The grass field/path area was nicely mowed and our dog had a blast running around. If you’re driving from west side of Side Rd 2, it’s easy to miss the gate since there’s no visible sign (If you directly follow the link from this app, the Google map will lead you to the owners house area)Other than this, it’s a lovely place to visit and have fun with your doggo!
55This a wonderful place. Tracey is an amazing host. It was easy to find and very organized. My eldest daughter rescued two dogs who are not social and unable to go to dog parks. To see them just running and running in fields and have freedom was amazing . Thank-you for opening up your beautiful place and we shall be back
55This was a great spot! My dog loved running up and down the trail and through the woods. Frannie also loved splashing in the creek. The property is beautiful and my dog and I are so thankfully that Tracey is willing to share. A sidenote: Frannie isn't interested in eating horse poop but if your dog might be, you may want to consider muzzeling them or working on a solid "leave it" command, as it is an active horse farm.
55Beautiful and spacious spot. My dog loved it from the get-go. As other reviews said, it is large so you may wish to spend more time there. The hour was good for me, but I may try longer visits in the future, especially as it’s a bit of a drive for me (but worth it).
55Very large property, definitely need at least 2 hours to explore. Would be ideal for some markers to show the trails.
55Beautiful property and fun place to let your dogs run free!
55This was so amazing! Green pastures, trails, rivers! It was like Disneyland got my dog.
55Love the big field for Gus to just run. He was a happy boy. And spending time down by the water. So much exploring.
55Great time as always!
55We had a great time visiting Tracy’s SniffSpot! It was easy to find the location as well as the entrance to the spot. There was a slight trail to follow on the perimeter of the field. My dog loved playing fetch in the open field. We did visit after 2 straight days of rain so everything was pretty soggy but that is to be expected. The property is huge, an hour was almost not enough time especially for a first visit. We will be back again!

Host replied: Not sure why dogs love to munch but they do :) all our dogs do this as well :)

Private Dog Park In Waterdown at Goldenwood Acres

***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD.*** **Gate is back up and Fully Fenced as of April 21, 2024** Welcome to Goldenwood Acres! On our 26 acre hobby farm, we have a 6 acre fully fenced farm field/dog park. Ride up and park at the white barn, and walk your leashed puppers to the field past our gardens, woodlots, and ponds. From the barn to the dog park you will get familiar with our surroundings and other fences. There is access to the forest and two ponds on the property. Crossing through the tree line, you have private access to the 6-acre field. Four-foot tall fencing is installed for your security. The best time to come is May to September. Come walk between the sunflower rows that grow up to 10 feet tall in the late summer! We cut the field between the sunflowers, make trails and play spots. We also leave big areas untouched for our honeybees (hives located in the other field). Enjoy seeing natural landscapes, trees, and privacy. Have fun, play catch and let your animal have unleashed freedom! We have uploaded a printable "safety map" for each season, that contains a legend for your use. Note the fire pit is not available during the winter season. Park has one main gate. This season we will also be placing picnic tables with a BBQ for large groups. I recommend booking the summer weekends in advance as they will fill up fast! Fencing Details: The 6-acre Dog Park Field is permanently fenced with approximately 2,500 linear feet of 4’ tall farm fence. The farm fence consists of professionally installed 2” by 4” squares of wire mesh (commonly used for smaller livestock such as sheep, donkey, cows, etc) and cedar posts. If you look at the photos you can see the locations of the gate on the main photo or on “safety map” (see photos and captions). We have more fencing on other parts of the property outside of our dog park in case your dog does not have good recall. Refer to the safety map (see photos). If you have any questions, please let me know.
