55If I could give this place 10 starts I would! This is first place where my reactive foster has felt safe and I’m left with no words. Such a beautiful backyard and he was able to just roam and be naked for once (no leash and harness haha). I will be booking weekly until little man finds his furever home. Another great feature, their beautiful door so you can see in just in case. There is a little trash can by it and poop bags. The host is so lovely and so understanding! If I could give this place 10 starts I would! This is first place where my reactive foster has felt safe and I’m left with no words. Such a beautiful backyard and he was able to just roam and be naked for once (no leash and harness haha). I will be booking weekly until little man finds his furever home. From a pine forest with the forest floor covered with pine needles creating a silent magical atmosphere to a small pond of clear water and finally a beautiful meadow full of butterflies and flowers, all tied together with a dirt road covered on both sides by a canopy of trees. 55The door is on the left side once you park in the driveway. The owner's dog is very cute and stayed inside, no barking or any sound heard from outside. My dog didn't even notice and had a great time in the backyard. There were plenty of toys, areas with shade, water bowl, hose, and poop bags available. We didn't find a garbage can, so didn't know where to dispose of my dog's poop, which might be my only suggestion to the owner to leave a small can or even basket outside for disposal. About half of the fencing is very secure and private, whereas the other half was non-privacy chicken-wire type fencing. Overall, it's secure enough for my dog and we had a lovely day. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
