Welcome to our private beach on the Buffalo River - the ultimate summer SniffSpot! The river is slow moving, clear, shallow and all sand. It is about 1-2 feet deep near our beach, and deeper on the opposite side of the river. In heavy rain, it ebbs and flows in depths. It is a very safe place to wade, play fetch, dig in the sand, teach dogs about water or just hang out on a warm day. You will park and walk to the beach on mowed trails through our woods about 600 feet to the beach. It is completely secluded on a beautiful bend in the river where you will be surrounded by woods. The SniffSpot availability is limited to the beach only, and not the rest of our property.

PALS Park Lower, is a space we have curated strictly for dogs. This park is the little brother of PALS Park, now PALS Park Upper. This space is more rustic and a bit more simple than PALS Park Upper. There are 2, 5 gallon water jugs available with dog bowls. A deck box with an assortment of toys. A pooper scooper, along with a poop bag dispenser and trash can. There is a blue bag filled with agility equipment that may be used, but please put back when finished. People and Dog bug spray, natural and traditional varieties are available. This park is also named after our dogs. Penelope (20 lb., (F) Boston Terrier), Arthur, and Lewis (55-70 lb., (M) Cattle Dog mixes and biological brothers). Arthur and Lewis “do not play well with others” (they're herding dogs and tend to herd other dogs). Penelope is smaller and getting older, so she gets bullied at dog parks. Needless to say our number one goal is the safety and wellbeing of our kids, and now yours.

There are 15 acres of native prairie grasses and plants. There are a few trees and rolling hills. There is approximately 1.5 miles of mowed trails that loop and connect, creating several options for new routes for each visit. There is also an outhouse available if needed. However, it is within our normally private area, so dogs must be on leashes and there are hooks for leashes while in use.

The Sniff Spot play area is located in the BACK AREA of the building and is NOT the front play yard, as that is used by our boarding dogs daily. You'll go thru two gates to enter the space. We needed an open space with fencing, a relatively quiet area, yet far enough away from residential areas because our dogs bark a bit more than average and we don't want to be a bother to our neighbors. We realized this is the need for many dogs and dog parents (like us), and those dogs are not always afforded the ability to go to a dog park and be off leash, and be in a stress-free environment. That’s why we offer our space, a place we have made exclusively to let our dogs and YOURS be the very best version of themselves. Dogs deserve to be dogs, and that’s our aim at PALS Park. **At the park we do our very best to offer a 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience. We are always looking for ways to improve the park, for you and your dogs. With constructive, positive, and a 5 star review, we will be better equipped to meet your needs. Also, leaving ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ would be pretty darn PAWSOME! **If there is something about your visit that isn’t worthy of a 5 star review, please message me and I can make it right. *We also have a (M) grey and white cat named Stumpy. He is indoors 75% of the time and makes himself VERY scarce when new people/cars are around. *There is ample parking and the driveway will be cleared of snow in the winter months. If there is a massive snowfall we will do our best to make a path. *There is a horse shelter in the park (we are slowly turning into the guest space). That’s where you will find several pooper scoopers with a bucket for poops without poop bags, a poop bag station, and a few mobile poop bag holders. There is a trash can for bagged poo and trash. We have set out some people chairs and an elevated dog bed. There are always refreshed buckets of water around the park. Who can forget the toys? We have two deck boxes full of toys. A larger one near the house as well as a smaller one at the shelter. There is also a tennis ball hopper at the shelter. Toys can be put back in either box, and please try your best to return them before you leave. **PROPER POOP DISPOSAL PROCEDURE** #2 can be: -pitched over the fence (bagless) -put into the trash can (if bagged) Karmic Poop Pick Up - we have a ton of space to play, so the odds of missing a poo now and then are high, we totally get it. See a poop? Pick it up (with a provided poop bag) and all day long you'll have good luck! We have a 700 gallon stock tank pool (not open November - May) just for the dogs. This will be available for an extra charge of $5 per dog. We will provide some towels for pool use and for general wet weather, because we know a wet dog in a car is not fun. Please drape the used/wet towels over the large grey gate at entrance before you leave. For human safety, please try to stay off the patio/porch near the home as it’s slippery when wet. Those areas will marked with a yellow plastic chain or closed off with black gates. If the dogs make it up there it isn’t a big deal, just be careful retrieving them.

Newly installed fully fenced in area approximately 2600 ft. Does have a small Hill in one spot. We do treat the lawn with a dog friendly pesticide company because there are so many mosquitoes here. So basically our backyard doesn't have many mosquitoes at all. There is access to water and we have a splash pad available. It's a nice area to come and let your dogs just run and play. There are some spots in the fence that are not all the way to the ground so if you have a very little dog it may not be ideal. There are toys in the toybox. We have one designated parking spot that's off the road at the end of the driveway.

Park in the driveway next to house and enter gate on driveway by garage. Close gate firmly and please do not use the other two gates for any reason.

Beautiful 1 acre of flat green grass. Perfect for letting your pup run and play. We do our best to keep the area cleaned and maintained. We hope that our customers will do the same during their visit. There is a $10 fee for every mess that has to be cleaned by the park owner. We want you to have a great experience when you visit.

Fully fenced in yard with easy access from the keypad on the garage. Grill, kiddie pool, hose, trash can, sprinkler, chairs, fire pit, a table, children’s toys, dog toys, dog water + snacks, human water + snacks, and more all available for use with your booking. Well taken care of grass and cleaned often. We do have a few dead spots, but they are growing back! You can also request to use our fully enclosed sunroom which will include a dining table, outlets, lights, basic dining needs, and a tv. Wheelchair accessible space, and has a great patio!

Fully fenced in 0.25 acre backyard. Most of the yard is surrounded by a 4ft chainlink fence. The NE property line has a 6ft wooden privacy fence. The northern part of the yard has a 4ft wooden fence behind the garage. Dog poop bags, poop rake/panel (for picking up poop), a trash, dog toys, a dog house, and a water bowl are all available for use. We do have 2 dogs if your pup would like the company. If not, they will happily be inside the house to give your pup all the space they need.

** We are open and accepting bookings on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Years Day. ** 23 acres enclosed with 4' high woven wire fence, a mix of open field and heavy woods, sometimes turkey, grouse, gophers, and bunnies, lots of "sniff therapy"! Private entrance is shaded with easy access right onto the wooded trails! The portapotty and dog rinse station are located in the parking area. We have bug sprays and poop bags at the entrance and the far end of the field for you to use if needed. Special visitation hours or larger groups may be available under prior arrangement. Shoot us a message, and we can usually make larger groups or people traveling to/from dog competitions happen! For those traveling, we might also be able to accommodate visits outside of our normal hours. ***now that we have freezing temps at night, we are not leaving water out in the field.***

Now my description: Opportunity Woods offers 5+ acres of hilly woods and long grass meadow surrounded by a secure 6 foot fence. Several benches are placed along the rustic trails, but of course, there is no need to stay on a trail! A water bowl can be found and filled from the human-potable water hydrant, where you will also find a wading pool for dog and human use in summer. There is a roofed picnic/shade shelter just up the hill from the hydrant. Take in the serene view of the surrounding area, and get a Birdseye view of Opportunity Farm, where sheep graze the nearby paddocks. Wire-wheel tables and chairs are available for relaxing, hanging out with your dog or having a picnic. Have your dog invite their friends to join in the fun, or have a private play date just with you!

We have a large fenced in area and also have a 1 acre field available but is not fenced. We have agility equipment including weaves, jumps, teeters and dog walks, and obedience jumps including broad jump. We also have benches and chairs, treats and toys!! We have pooper scoopers and a trash can. We have a small pool and a larger pool for kids and dogs!!The hose is available if you want it, including dog shampoo and towels. We will have water available if needed but bring your own bowl. We have a long driveway and plenty of parking. Please drive up the driveway and into the parking lot by the gate to enter. We have plenty of sun but also large shade trees! Kids welcome!!
