55We love this place so much, they’re really thought of everything - thank you so much
55Amazing spot! So many things provided (balls, water, poop bags, baby pool, towels, bug spray) and very spacious and clean. Norbert had a great time and absolutely loved jumping in the creek. We will definitely be back!!
55This is our 2nd time here and my dogs love it. The creek was full this time and that’s where they went straight for! It’s always clean and I will always bring my dogs here when I’m in the area.
55Always a blast!
55This spot was great- Oakleys favorite so far! They had clean towels, a clean water dish, bug spray, and lots of different toys to try out. He particularly loved the tug toy attached to the tree out front and now I know to get him one. He took advantage of the recent rain and loved running through the puddles. He also loved swimming in the creek and it was a perfect outlet for his genetic needs. We also loved seeing Oakley work on the wooden platform and some agility equipment that was left out.
55Fantastic place. Have been bringing the dogs I walk here because they are reactive and can't be loose. They absolutely love it. I have been discussing being an in house photographer to help get clients great action shots of their pups at a very affordable cost. Please reach out to me if you are interested. If you scroll thru the pictures you will see other photos of my work.
55It was great. The dogs loved it. The agility field was set up and we enjoyed working in it. Would be nice if other patrons cleaned up after their dogs. There was poop in the agility field and just outside.
55This place is great! Highly recommended!
55 Always a great experience!
55Perfect Sniffspot! It has all the essentials, agility, trails, creeks, and the perfect field for a game of fetch! Can’t wait to come back!!

Description

This is a very quiet place on a country road where your dogs can be off leash and free to explore nature. The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. After the first visit, book whenever you want! If you absolutely cannot make it these days for your first visit, we can work something out. 🙂

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

It’s the woods! Briars, roots, vines, ticks, wild blackberry bushes, mole holes in some of the open spots, wet areas, poison ivy, creek, swimming hole. Nature! Where the creek enters and exits the property, be aware that there are small areas where a determined dog could get through. We need to keep these small areas open for the visiting beavers who like to travel down the creek from the adjacent pond. Otherwise they chew our fence!

Additional rules

I would like to meet guests before their first visit to show them options for parking and the general lay of the land. Anyone that is interested in using the agility equipment is required to have had at least a beginner's course in agility before being allowed to use the equipment. This is an important safety issue.

We love the quiet country life and enjoy offering our space to dogs who would not normally be able to stretch their legs!
