Great spot! So many trails to explore and great views. Our dog loved it.
Host replied: Iβm glad your dog loved it!π
It was a beautiful property with gorgeous horses. My puppy has a blast sniffing around!
Host replied: Hi Katie, I am very happy that you and your puppy enjoyed our spot! However, I was very disappointed that you put the property was not cleanβ¦ This is a 68 acre ranch and we pride ourselves on keeping the trails clean and our home clean, so I donβt understand why You would say the property is not as clean as expected! I would really love to hear and understand where that came from so I can correct the issue as it is not acceptable for black Horse Station to not be cleanβ¦ Maybe Iβm missing something and I would appreciate your input. Thank you.
Wow!!! I didnβt really know what to expect but Iβm so glad I just took a chance and came out to this beautiful property. It was rolling hills, with amazing views, then down into the forest, lots of trails and places to explore. Will definitely visit again!!
We weren't sure what to expect with this large property that's been largely logged. It was amazing - more than you can possibly do in an hour. Some nice wooded trails too. We saw cows and horses but from afar
One of our favorites! Tons of trails to hike and even some horse friends :)
Many different paths to walk. Plenty of places to explore. Relatively hilly. Most of the area is logged and wide open. Small valley area with tree cover.

Really nice spot to walk around. Views for the people.
Host replied: The mountain was glistening today, perfect day! ππ¨π¨π¨
We drove from Gresham Oregon to come check out this wonderful location, it did not disappoint! Had a great time, could hear some dogs in the distance and kids, riding, quads, or motorcycles, but that did not take away from the experience. The views were fantastic, atlas, had a really good time lots of sniffs and zummies. Will definitely be back.
Host replied: You are so very kind! As the trees grow back in the forest there will be more βquietβ but the Views wonβt be this magnificent! So we just enjoy the moment now as much as we can as the forest progrissively grows! We replanted 250 trees on 60 acres of the 68 acres. We look forward to sharing our paradise with people of all walks ππ ππ¨π¨πππ¨π¨π¨π¨
Great location to let the dogs explore. Lots of property, not very many steep hills but also not many trees. The area is very cleared but we happen to enjoy that aspect. The views were spectacular.
Host replied: Thank you so very much! πππ¨ππ¨π¨ππ¨π¨π¨π¨
This is easily my new favorite spot. I was there for an hour but could have rented for longer. The trails were great. There are horses and cows, but easily avoidable if your pup struggles with them.

My parents were friends with the Whites (previous owners) for about 30 years. Me and my dad made horse trails on this property for over 20 years. The Whites were in their late 80βs and early 90βs and started to have health issues and their kids wanted them to move to Nevada. So Mr. White made me a deal I couldnβt refuse! It was a complete forest up here... 30-50 year old trees on about 62 of the 68 acres. So he said if I would oversee the logging so he could get his $1.4M, clean up everything they left behind, take the house as is and $600k the place was all mine.Itβs been really hard work but it is so worth it! It not being horse friendly and all the stumps from logging and their crap was the absolute worse! So thatβs how I got my paradise...
