55Once again Pawsitive Connection sniffspot did not disappoint. We went early in the AM and the pups were able to play for an hr. I even got some walking in on the property. It might become an every Monday thingMiranda A.

55This is our third visit to this SniffSpot and it’s still just as fun! My puppy absolutely loves Rita the big red ball and the flirt pole toy. We also practice training here with the parkour obstacles. 1 hour here is enough to tire her out for most of the day! Brytany V.

55Enzo had a blast again! We love coming to this SniffSpot so much! He loved playing with the flirt pole, romping around, and fully being his wild self. The agility course has helped to build his confidence and given him the space to be a dog. We’ll be back!Tara C.

55My girls love running around doing all the sniffs- and this place didn’t disappoint! A hi-light of the trip was a nearby squirrel yelling at the dogs from a tree- they loved it! Clean, spacious, plenty of toys, and several water/poo pickup spots to choose from. I really appreciated all of the seating options. I love how private it is despite being just off of a neighborhood.Laurie V.

55Henri invited a friend to play at her favorite spot this morning and they had so much fun! There was a new obstacle put in and Henri made herself queen of the tire tower. I decided to become a member at this spot because my puppy loves it so much. The other pup we invited really enjoyed herself too and now they will both sleep all day! Brytany V.

55Stephanie has done an amazing job creating a safe, fun space for dogs and humans! She’s thought of everything: pooper scoopers and water bowls were placed all around the area for easy access, shade umbrellas and chairs in various locations, and lots of fun agility items for the dogs. Plus, a large bin of toys and even a dog first aid kit. For these hot days, she has pools for the dogs and portable fans for the humans. My dogs and I had a great time!Courtney K.

55First time ever our fur babies got to run off leash on a wide open space. The loved it! They were too busy going around and checking everything out to even want to play with the toys. We will definitely be back!Denise P.

55Our 3rd visit and I’m so grateful to have this space for my “apartment” dog. I can sit and read while she gets to safely explore and play OFF LEASH. In a fun environment we can practice retrieving, come, check-in, etc. Julia C.

55It’s very obvious that the hosts put a lot of thought into the specifics needed to set this SniffSpot apart from the rest. The location was the first amazing feature in my book. I was so happy to learn a place opened in Mead since it would save me the 40 minute car ride one way to the locations I’d visited in the past.
Secondly, aside from the toys commonly found at SniffSpots (ball launchers, frisbees) they included non traditional ones as well including a GIANT red ball that, although my dogs could care less about it, I’m sure others would love. The rally course was a great addition as well.
The portable misting fan, as well as the pressure activated cooling mat (located in the doggie first aid kit) to place on the dog cot, really sealed the deal for me though, as my chocolate lab rarely knows when to stop and pushed herself a bit too hard. This will be the only spot I visit from now on and I can happily say they’ve gotten a customer for life. ❤️Tracy B.

55What a great place to take the dogs! There is so much to do, sniff and see. It will take more than one visit to enjoy everything there. Plenty of shade, human chairs, water stations and garbage cans. Toys, pools, agility equipment, treats and a very fun kissing booth.
We had a very small dog who was on her first sniffspot adventure and to say that she enjoyed the experience is an understatement. Our other dog has been to several sniffspots but this one is the best yet.Juli M.

55This is a fantastic place for your dog (and you) to get out and run, jump and sniff as much as they want! There is agility equipment, pools, toys, and chairs, tables and shade umbrellas for the humans too! We do not take our guy to the local dog parks because of other overly aggressive dogs (Harley is a lover not a fighter), and the potential for diseases. This is MUCH better than a dog park, sooooo much more than a dog park! Every detail has been thought out for you to enjoy a great time with your dog!Robin T.

FAQ about our Clayton dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 98% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Clayton area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 42 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 5 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
