55Thank you Julia for a wonderful day! I adopted Betty 2 months ago, and this was the first time I could let her run free! She had a blast and so did I! Thank you for providing some water for her, since I didn't bring any with me. The place was big, clean, and she loved the kickballs. We'll definitely be back! Julie B.

55For being on a busier street right by a busy intersection, we really didn’t notice much noise or anything! The dogs we were happy to sniff and run around. They loved running around the pine trees up the small hill. Plenty of space and it was very clean. Will def be back!Sarah G.

55This was our first ever Sniffspot. After a week of rain, I questioned my wisdom in booking but was happily surprised that it was a well-maintained grassy lawn (just a slightly soft spot in a shady area in back, but nothing like the mud pit that currently comprises my own backyard).
Although this location is on a busy street, you’d never know it (other than traffic sounds). The property is very private featuring a border of arbor vitaes along a portion of the fence line. Most of the yard is vinyl fencing with one side chain link, but with privacy screening. It abuts a parking lot to the south.
My 3 dogs had an absolute blast running, playing and rolling (my boy, Odin is a roller.) There were some balls in the yard. The host provides poop bags and a waste bin for convenience.
Parking was on the street but I was able to park directly in front of the entrance gate, literally 10 steps away. They also have parking inside the gates through the alley with advance notice to the host. The host does not provide water, but I always keep a jug/bowl in my car, so no problem.
Along the fence line in back, there are some burrs. My dog’s bushy tail found a few but I was able to remove them before they became embedded.
I suspect tiny dogs (<10 lbs) could slip under the front gate and possibly a few areas along the fence line; that would be my only caution. Otherwise, it was very secure.
Thank you to the homeowners for sharing your yard. After the horrible weather all week, you gave my dogs a chance to work off some pent-up energy leaving this dog mom free to go out for dinner without guilt!

55Very clean and spacious. Unfortunately, the weather took a turn on us, but definitely loved. The only thing was we had small Chihuahuas that could slip under the gate if they tried. (To be fair they are the size of a guinea pig haha)Alyz S.

55First time taking my dog -- 3.5 year old Border Collie Mix -- to a SniffSpot + Lure Course. Entire yard is fenced in, which was great to be able to immediately let her off leash to sniff around. Lure course was super entertaining for her and myself; she couldn't get enough. Host was super friendly and accommodating. I mentioned prior to our reservation that my dog can be reactive to other dogs, so he kept his dog inside while we were borrowing the yard. We chatted throughout the hour we booked. He offered to make coffee for us (I had brought my own). Overall, super pleased with this spot and will definitely be back in the summertime once the ground thaws a bit more. Michelle P.

55It was our first time using Sniffspot & it was a great experience. I brought over 4 dogs who had plenty of room to chase, doggo wrestle & explore. The yard was secure, safe & well maintained. Our gracious host came out to say hi & bring our pack a squeaky toy which, inevitably was destroyed by Bella. We will definitely be back, thank you!Lori R.

55My first time using Sniffspot and it was wonderful 😊 I parked right along the side of the yard and we went in. The hosts were super friendly and asked if the dogs could have a squeaky ball and I said yes, but my dogs were too busy getting all of the new sniffs in. It’s really a great spot to let your dogs run and completely fenced. I plan on going back often.Mandy L.

55My friend and I wanted our dogs to meet in a spot that was new to us both. I have a very playful dog, and she has two high-energy dogs. This space was perfect. We were able to easily supervise the dogs, they were able to run around and get their energy out, and the host was very gracious! Overall a great experience. Lisa D.

55So happy with our first Sniffspot! The yard is big and great for digging and sniffing. Easy parking and easy entrance to spot. Love this community for dogs that need something away from other animals. Kellianne W.

55My dog loved it! I did feel bad because he saw an outside cat in the yard next door and he spent quite some time barking at it and trying to find a secret entrance into the neighboring yard (there isn't one), but hopefully that was okay. The ball provided was a big hit, as were the sticks. The wood chips also prevented him from getting muddy like he would at the dog park on a day with melting snow like today. We'll definitely be back. Amanda S.

55Met up with a friend here today and had such a blast! Friends pup was a bit more alert to people passing by than expected, so just be aware that it is on a busier road with plenty of people walking past, so maybe not ideal for some, but my pup and I will definitely be back! 😊Colton M.

FAQ about our Milwaukee dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Milwaukee area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 73 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 12 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
