Our charitable, tax-exempt mission is to save as many lives as possible by giving homeless and lost animals a warm and special touch to show them that they are loved so they can trust again and return that love.
I served in the military (Navy) from 1989 till 1993. My passion in life has always been to work with and care for animals. I have 7 dogs of my own (Palen, Rocsco, BK, Chico, Beau, Star and Annie). All of my dogs, except Palen, were found and taken in by my facility, The Dog House Pet Salon. If I could take every rescue home with me, I would.
We have taken in over 290 homeless and lost animals since we opened our doors for business at The Dog house Pet Salon in 2009. We have re-homed 289 of them. Dash has been with us for one year. Dash needs a little more training to become confident and trust humans again. If I cannot re-home one of my loved ones, they will stay with me and live a good life.
We believe that every lost animal with a microchip, rabies id/vet tag number or a name tag should be able to be identified and the parents contacted in a matter of seconds. We created the innovative My Pet Credentials mobile app for that very reason ‚an easy to use digital platform to empower the parents of lost pets with a means to find their lost pet quickly and efficiently without the need of calling, faxing or emailing.
Pet owners, pet salons, rescue shelters and veterinarians can download the MPC app or register at www.mypetcredentials.com. The cost to pet owners is $16.99 annually. The platform is free for pet salons, rescue shelters and veterinarians.
I am most proud of the lost and found function that is part of the MPC pet service platform. Pet owners enter the microchip number or rabies id/vet tag number in their pet's profile. If someone finds the pet, they can use the MPC mobile app or go to www.mpclost.com to identify the lost pet by entering any one of three tracking numbers. The MPC platform will immediately display:
A picture of the pet (front, left and right Image)
The pet's name, age, gender, breed, color and markings
The pet's most current vaccinations
A button to contact the owner who will receive a text, email and mobile app notification with the good Samaritan‚ name, phone number, email and message
When someone finds a pet, MPC‚ lost and found function assists in reuniting the lost pet with their family, quickly and efficiently, by giving the Samaritan the ability to enter the lost pet's name, age, gender, breed, color and any markings along with any microchip, rabies id or vet tag number (tracking numbers) and upload an image of the lost pet.
Once the tracking information has been entered by the Samaritan the family of the lost pet will be able to go to our universal lost and found website, www.mpclost.com, to input their pet's tracking information and our platform will display to the family an image of their pet, the pet's name as reported by the good Samaritan, age, gender, breed, color and any markings and the name, address and phone number where the pet can be reunited with their family.
This innovative process reunites lost pets found with a microchip or rabies id or vet tag number with their families quickly and efficiently by eliminating the need to post lost and found flyers or waste time calling animal shelters, city pounds or veterinarians to locate their lost pet.
I could go on about all the features of the MPC platform such as transfer of ownership, vaccination records storage, vaccination reminders and scheduling appointments with your pet salon.
We created Donna's Love Pet Rescue for people who want to help end homelessness for animals and provide an easy to use digital platform to help identify pets, contact owners of lost pets quickly and efficiently and allow owners of lost pets with a microchip or rabies id or vet tag number to be registered with MPC for a quick and joyous reunion!

Testimonials
See all testimonials"I started the animal programs at the local fire department and Donna’s Love has been part of it all from the beginning. This amazing organization has helped find fosters, adoptive families and medical care for lost animals in our community. They help promote our first in the area microchip program at Fire Stations and our free pet vaccination and microchip clinics. Every firefighter knows their passion for the animals. When a box of puppies was dumped at a fire station, Donna’s Love stepped up immediately and that’s just one example. They are an amazing resource for animals and for the Sprimg community. We are blessed to have them as part of our crew!"

"Donnas Love Rescue is rescuing dogs from the mean and overcrowded streets of Houston every day. Teresa is a tireless worker and is always working 24/7 to find fosterers, making sure foster puppies get their food, vaccinations and spay or neuter appointments."

"As far as Donna’s Love Pet Rescue I’ve only dealt with Teresa Worley and I know from experience that she’s an amazing person with a heart the size of Texas. I adopted my sweet Chiweenie, Leia, from her a while back and was impressed with Teresa’s medical expertise and how she took care of everything from the paperwork to the immunizations (except Rabies) and even offered to take her to be spayed, though we chose to have our own vet do it. While I was at Teresa’s home for Leia’s shots she was kind enough to show me the inner workings of all she does on a daily basis. She showed me several of the dogs she had rescued who she was working diligently with to rehabilitate both medically and emotionally. Her strong commitment to each and every animal shows the deep love she has in her heart for the work she does. Our community would be lost without Teresa and Donna’s Love Pet Rescue. They are truly deserving of the honor of being named the best rescue in America."

"Adopting Bently from Donna’s Love Rescue was a life-changing experience for both my family and our new fur baby. Bently was one of six dogs abandoned from an apartment owner. Their dedication to capturing and finding loving homes for dogs in need is truly remarkable. I am in awe when seeing the horrifying conditions of some of their rescued dogs and am so very thankful they have Donna’s Love Rescue on their side. I will be forever grateful for the joy and companionship Bently has brought into our lives and will continue to support Donna’s Love Rescue in any way that we can. Best rescue and people ever!"

"The adoption process was very easy and having the opportunity to visit with our fur-baby at the foster home was amazing. We took our beloved fur-baby home the same day. We stay in touch with our fur-baby's foster parents. They took such great care of our pup and you see they loved all of their foster fur-babies. We feel very blessed to have found Donna's Love Pet Rescue in Houston, Texas and were able to add to our family."

"I had just lost my pet of 14 years and was searching through adopt a pet and all different shelters county shelters and others in ran across Donna’s Love. There was a small dachshund mix that they had rescued and I sent a message and had a rapid response from them. Needless to say I went to the foster parents house the next day it was clean the dogs were well taken care of and just fell in love with the new rescue. His name is Skeeter. He has tested heart-worm positive but Donna’s rescue immediately addressed the situation and I have had him for almost a month now my vet said he’s been treated in accordance to his situation and prayerfully he will test negative at his next visit. Thank you Donna’s Love for addressing his needs immediately. He’s coming out of his shell and it’s probably one of the best choices that I’ve made in my life is giving this little dog some hope in a new home. Thanks to the amazing group of people. They don’t have shelters!! they have foster families! and they are no cages that they don’t believe in traumatizing the dogs anymore and it is just a beautiful thing. I’m so grateful that I ran across this organization, and the people who volunteer there are selfless, and very honest, I would recommend Donna to anybody who was looking for a new addition to their family. The adoption process was easy it wasn’t long drawn out process which I understand that rescue organization's want to make sure that the right people are adopting the dogs. The foster family was very friendly and not pushy. This is a great organization, and we need more like them."

"I was a one person rescuer. I found out about Donna's and it had people just like me come together to try with our combined efforts to get more dogs into loving homes. It is truly a grassroots organization and I've sponsored three dogs through them. I hope you feel that Donna's is as deserving as I do. Thank you."

"Donna's love pet rescue is the most amazing rescue in Texas. I got my Lulu from them after they rescued her from a hoarding situation (a lady with good intentions )who had accumulated 26 dogs. Donna's love pet rescue cares about animals like we care for our children. They will go above and beyond to get an animal out of a bad situation. Get vetting, find fosters and adopters. Thank you!"

David Adams is a man of many passions, but his love for dogs stands above all. He is not only a dog lover, but also the founder of an innovative platform called Sniffspot. This unique platform connects dog owners with private property owners who are willing to rent out their space for off-leash playtime. David's dedication to providing safe and enjoyable spaces for dogs to play, explore, and socialize is evident in his unwavering commitment to Sniffspot.
