55This was a really wonderful spot! Perfect for Oliver, who loves to leap through the ferns and chase critters. Also fun for our girls. Grace is an amazingly thoughtful host. I'm going to book again soon!Carolyn K.

55Best Sniff Spot! If you want to walk with your dog in your own private forest, this is the place. Grace was sweet and welcoming and showed us where to go when we arrived. Our whippet mix had the time of his life running and sniffing and exploring to his heart’s content! We didn’t find any areas where he could escaped, (and he probably would tried if he could have). My husband and stepdaughter came too and it was a fun outdoor time for the whole family. So worth the 45 minute drive for us!
Thanks Grace, for opening up your beautiful property and for the treats. We look forward to visiting again. Kate W.

55We LOVED this sniffspot! It has so much diversity! We had expected it to be a bit on the mucky side since it had been raining for the past 5 days straight, but there were only 2 spots that were a little muddy, but we were able to just walk around them. I felt like my little guy was safe to run around all he wanted and it was very clean. These are the 2 most important factors to me, safety and cleanliness and this spot got the full 5 stars for both!Laura C.

55Lovely, private spot with so much room to explore! Grace met us (distanced, masked!), on our first visit to help us find our way and was a delight to chat with. We said hi to the goats and crossed the bridge into the sniff spot area. Our pup had a blast running up the hill and sniffing all the sniffs. There are little benches tucked in various spots to rest if you like. Fully and securely fenced, so you don't have to worry about your pup running off if he/she has selective hearing. 55Grace is so friendly and kind. She met us outside (with a mask on) and told us about the property. She even wrote our names on a sign attached to the gate (so cute). If you are looking for a fun outing with your dog, this is it! Our new favorite Sniffspot! Thanks Grace! Kathleen p.

55This sniff spot was great! If it weren't so far from Seattle (about an hour for us) we would be out there multiple times a week. As it is, we plan on it being a new special weekend place for us to visit.
When we arrived we met Grace outside who showed us where things were. She is super nice! She had a sign out there with our name on it and everything.
Our dog Juniper had a wonderful time running around and exploring, and it was a great opportunity for us to practice recall with her.
When we left we notice that Grace had left a little goody bag for us and Juniper on our car.
If we could give this place 6 out of 5 stars we would. Kate R.

55This Sniff Spot is well worth the drive. There was a ton of space for dogs to run around and lots of different things for them to see/smell including streams, river, forest area, hikes to run up, etc. The host was very welcoming and even gave us a dog treat at the end. We stayed for 1.5 hours and could have stayed for 1.5 more. We will definitely be returning here in the futureRonan C.

55It was amazing! What a cool spot to let your dog run. My dog is a new rescue and this was her 1st time off leash in a large area and I felt pretty confident that she was safely secured if she happened to take off shes about 20lbs. The only spot she could have escaped was under the entrance gate but it leads to another fenced area I just kept her on leash until we went up the big hill they soon forget about the gate. The area gets pretty muddy but not that bad at all, glad I had boots on and towels for afterwards though. I just wish I lived closer I'd visit every weekend, this place is so worth the drive! 55Really great spot if your pup loves to sniff, run and splash around like mine does! Grace was so sweet and accommodating. She met us at our car to show us the gate access. She followed all COVID precautions which I appreciated! The trails were easy to navigate through and well maintained. We can’t wait to go back! Sarah G.

FAQ about our Point Roberts dog hiking trails
Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.
