55I’m so grateful for Sniffspot and Merlot’s Back Yard. We recently adopted a hesitant but energetic rescue pup. The dogs in her life are seniors and she’s a bit too much for them right now. Our yard is small so it’s difficult for our Emmy to get a good run in. I decided to give Merlot’s Backyard a try. So glad I did. I scheduled the visit to include Merlot but Emmy was too intimidated to play. Merlot was gentle, asking nicely for Emmy to play, but Emmy wasn’t ready on this visit. Merlot went inside and watched from the screen door. I didn’t know she was there! Merlot was so quiet, not a single bark, even though Emmy was playing with all of her toys in her yard. I’m hopeful that on our next visit Emmy will be braver. She had a great time exploring the yard and playing. I now have a good idea of the toys to buy for her as she was picky, sorting through them all to find just the right ones. Misti’s yard is beautiful with lots of areas to relax. It started to rain a bit so I sat under the covered pergola. If I could figure out how to post a photo, I would. I highly recommend Merlot’s Backyard. Emmy and I will be back.

    I’m so grateful for Sniffspot and Merlot’s Back Yard. We recently adopted a hesitant but energetic rescue pup. The dogs in her life are seniors and she’s a bit too much for them right now.     What a great idea. Right in our neighbourhood. We just got a five month old pup and our backyard is not fenced so this is great while he gets used to us and learns some commands. Also gives him a chance to sniff and play. We'll be back. Thank you.
