Finger Lakes Dog Park is a privately reservable, fully-fenced, half acre canine recreation area. We enthusiastically welcome ALL dogs, but the private nature of the park is especially beneficial for reactive or shy dogs, traveling dogs, handicapped dogs, puppies, or seniors. We are the first and only dog park in Schuyler County, located in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region. The area is known for its rolling farmland, many vineyards, beautiful lakes, and plentiful waterfalls and gorges. Numerous state parks offer many camping opportunities. And the county is also home to the only national forest in the state. So whether you are a local resident-or a visitor to our little piece of heaven-be sure to bring your special friend(s) for an enjoyable outing in the country. We are open every day (including all holidays) from 8am to 8pm. The park is not lighted (yet) so reserve your spot accordingly during the winter. Happy romping!

Come enjoy our secret sanctuary sniffspot!! We have just over 11 beautiful, unfenced acres located in North Lansing. There is a ton of off street parking, plenty of nicely mowed yard to run and play, berry bushes, roses, fruit trees and more. Scenic, shady trails are mowed through the large untamed field that spans the back of the property. Because the field is in it's natural mid-growth succession, it hosts a wide variety of plant and animal diversity. If you're also a birder like me, be sure to bring your camera!

Gate 1 - 59 acres of land. Trails and views are awesome. Gate 2 - 120 acres of land. Mix of woods and fields. Great for training hunting dogs or an off leash experience. Very secluded Gate 1 is also a glamping site. If rented then there’s no dogs allowed.

Welcome to our little slice of heaven! Daisy farm is our nearly 2 acre farm where animals are always welcome to play! We personally have 2 Shepski puppers (Cerby and TT), a few barn kitties, American Chinchilla rabbits and flemish giant rabbits, a duck, Chickens, Turkeys, a yellow headed Amazon parrot, a blue fronted Amazon, a blue and gold macaw, a musk snapping turtle with an array of fish! We are always adding new rescues so you never know what new smells have been added! **We are an active homestead, this mean we do allow our animals to free range when we are not hosting. You can expect to see poultry droppings and wild animal droppings at times** Any questions please feel free to ask!

Come enjoy our 1.5 acre property! The property is partially fenced. The property is completely fenced across the front of the home, parallel to the road. It sits on. The property is then fenced on one side of the yard by a wooden fence and trees, but not fully enclosed at the back. The other side of the property is not fenced, but has a very dense tree wine that offers security. the final border of the property is a stream. The stream is wonderful for splashing in and running in, drinking from, and being partially submerged in. The water level does very throughout the year, I have not lived on the property long, but I have personally seen the stream go dry in extreme heat for a few days, as well as being deep enough for a small dog to get swept down it. Probably 50% of the property is lawn, 30% wood, and about 20% tall grass/wetter area/muddy areas which your dog is welcome to dig in. We have off street parking, trash cans, and a hose available for drinking or rinsing your dog.

Greetings! Our land is a mix of flat grass (think lawn), some long/short pasture, and the majority being heavy wooded forest area. You will enjoy some rustic logging trails up there (but please don’t expect a perfect state park-type path). The terrain can be steep to climb to the top depending on your skill level. Once you are at the “top” of the hill, there is “flat” land that you can hike (I’ve even jogged up there -slowly!). For those of you that like a challenge, besides our two pathways up the hill, we offer a very steep side of the hill to climb. One of the photos shows water – that is the case if there is a heavy rain (likely September/October) but please know we don’t always have a running stream. We do offer a hose and bucket to rinse your dog’s feet at the end of the stay. The photos with the leaves are from last year – this is what the property will [hopefully] look like in September/October. November starts getting cold. December will bring snow with some plowed areas. For accessibility: if you use a wheelchair, you can drive your car onto the land and use the flat part of the land if you can access grassy lawn. If there is interest, I can offer to take your dog up the hill to run around for a nominal fee. We are new to this so please ask questions. Consider this spot “forever wild” woods. It is incredibly calm and peaceful up on the hill. You can quietly listen to the woods or bring a radio and sing to your dog loudly. If you are not a climber, even playing fetch behind the barn is nice. Note: inside the barn is off limits. This is a working property and there are tools, tractors, and such that are not good for any animals. Please Remember: there are no fences and we have a state highway in front of our property. All the area that you would use would be set back an appropriate distance, but I want to be clear for everyone sake that there are no fences. If your dog does not come back when called, perhaps this spot isn’t the best for any off-leash activity. Wild Animals: There are deer in the woods (and some dogs love to chase deer!) so please keep that in mind as well. We have also seen rabbits and an occasional skunk, raccoon, fox, groundhogs, and once even a porcupine. We hear coyote sometimes but I have not seen any on our land. Upstate New York has been known to house bobcats, mountain lions, and bears among others, but I have yet to see them on our land as well. We do see bald eagles on occasion. Lastly, your reservation is for 90 minutes to allow for time to truly enjoy nature.

We have open paster areas for off lead (call back collar a must) wooded trails, 3 ponds on the property, apple orchard, we will be adding agility area, and private fenced in areas for socialization play

Our home is easy to get to- just off Rt 96 south of Trumansburg NY. You and your pup(s) will have full access to a lovely one acre lot that is fully fenced. There are large open areas for full on running and some brushy areas for exploring. And plenty of squirrels to chase. Since our dog likes agility jumps, we have a swim noodle between two lawn chairs that are available for you. A doggie pool is available in warm weather and a variety of balls and a chuck-it are available for those traveling through. Our dog Albi is a friendly male 25lb poodle mix and is extremely playful but not aggressive. He is up to date with all vaccines. He is available if your dog needs a playmate. We would want to know that your dog is fully vaccinated and not aggressive if you’d like Albi to join your SniffSpit visit. Come by to check us out.

A beautiful property along the canal!!! Most of it's not landscaped and is grass with some wet land areas and some trees for shade. No fencing.

Dog Park backs up against a wooded area. Lot of space for you to play with your furbies and let them run free. Watering hose and bowls available on site. Seating available so you can rest while your dog runs. Fencing coming soon to allow more freedom for your dogs.

Come and get your dog(s) some much needed mental and physical stimulation, it’s a great way to reward your dog(s) for being their wonderful selves - and honestly, it’s great for you too, because what’s more fun and de-stressing than watching your beloved dog(s) having the time of their lives running, jumping, wrestling, rolling, chasing, sniffing, splashing, swimming, playing and just overall having tons of doggy fun? I know that when my dogs are having fun, I can’t help but be happy too as I watch them do so. Country Chic dog park is adjacent to pet friendly 5 star rated Country Chic B&B! This property boasts breathtaking views, natural AND maintained spaces to run, play and take in all that Country fresh air! Fur parents may help themselves to a camp fire when available, and farm fresh eggs from our hens. Fur babies will have plenty of wild small critters to sniff out and chase around our 5 acres. More amenities to come!
