55Taylor’s Pond is awesome!! My dog had a blast swimming in the pond. The trail goes all the way around the pond which allows you to get your daily steps in too! Parking was super easy and it was very clean. Taylor’s pond is definitely an awesome spot and we will absolutely be back. Megan H.

This was our first time actually going off leash and I was concerned for a few reasons; however, I felt so much better once I got there and noticed that I could see the entire place (and in theory, her) wherever I stood. There are a few outbuildings, so she did manage to sneak away, but always waited for me to appear.
David came out to talk for a few minutes and he was very friendly and welcoming. I loved the set up near the parking that had dog treats, toys, and water.

This place is amazing! There are loads of places to sniff, several different textures of walking path (gravel, dirt, grass, rocks), and not to mention the pond.
This was our first time actually going off leash and I was concerned for a few reasons; however, I felt so much better once I got there and noticed that I could see the entire place (and in theory, her) wherever I stood. The new fun thing today was a candy dispenser machine that had tasty dog treats in it. Great idea for those who forgot treats or want to try something new! I thought for sure my dogs who don't like water would just run around the exterior of the pond but to my surprise the water was too enticing for them to pass up and one of them even went for a swim. Tons of great areas for them to run around and explore! We and our 2 yr old German Shepherd had a blast, his ball drive had him swimming in no time as well as lots of laps around the well kept and lovely property. Nice hose available for rinsing him off afterwards and towels as well. We will definitely be back 👍.

Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.
How can I find dog hiking trails in Coronado?

How do I know if a dog hiking trail works for my dog?

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog hiking trail?
In order to hike the trails, we require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
How much do Sniffspot hiking trails cost?
Dog hiking trails in the Coronado area range from $14.0 and $14.0. The least expensive dog hiking trail is Taylor pond. The most expensive dog hiking trail is Taylor pond. Each host sets their own price, so you can check the price on the specific Sniffspot dog park listing.
