The property is well fenced with 1.5m deer fencing all round. After heavy rains there is sometimes a large pond at the lowest point which is great fun for the dogs. There is a hose and water bowl for you to use. When parking, please don’t block the shared driveway, and be careful not to park too close to the gate so you don’t get stuck. There are some older aerial photos, the blue indicates the property boundaries and the red is where to park. Rules - Please pick up any dog poop - Please keep your dogs on lead until inside the fenced area - Do not park blocking the shared driveway - Please be respectful to neighbours and their stock - Please turn off the hose at the tap when finished

The entrance is on the side of our property, not via our house/garage. You can park on the street, or in front of the large brown gate, then open and close the gate behind you. We have 2 dogs on the property but they will not be allowed in the reserved area.

In addition to the 1.3 acre fully fenced area we have a 2 acre field with trails that isn’t fenced. It’s a different environment full of sights, sounds, and scents for you dog to enjoy. I have a couple long leashes available for you to use so your dog has some freedom to explore.

Where there is a 6 foot tall fence so that dogs are secure even in the winter with a few feet of snow on the ground. To access that area just drive off the paved driveway onto the dirt road and into the woods. Parking is near the sniffspot gate. There are chairs and a cooler with water for dogs and a water bowl is provided. I just recently set this up as family friends recommended I try it, so please be patient as I improve things to make it more guest friendly. Hope your four legged friends enjoy it as much as my dogs do.

Treats available for being a good boy/girl. Farm animals are contained inside a separate fenced area, your baby won’t be in direct contact with them.

We have added a picnic table and bench seating for you to bring your friends, family or club members. We are working on adding a kids playground. For the dogs we have all sorts of fun activities and agility equipment. Pause table, training table, weave poles, A frame, short and long tunnel, balance stools, jumps, ground tires, cooling pool, hose, pooper scooper. We compost waste so no bags needed. Just scoop and put into the provided bucket. Plenty of room for ball. We will be adding more equipment as we go. Plan your family party or club event here or just come train or play with your dog. Are you looking for help with training? We provide that too. This is a farm setting with horses just over the fencing. It’s surrounded by trees for a nice private time. Deer Creek Doggie Day Camp is the premier doggie day care in Cape Girardeau, open Monday - Friday. On Saturdays, we host special events and dog trainings, but on Sundays, it can be yours! **Due to longer days of spring and summer, we are opening up Deer Creek some evenings and some Saturday mornings! We have four completely fenced in play yards available for use, varying in size, some with obstacles, some with just lots of room to run and play, and all with the best smells - your dog will love the Sniffari if nothing else!
