Great yard, very secure fence and peaceful setting. The host, Susan, was great too! We will go back, the dogs loved it!

There are a lot of pros for this site! 1) Large water bin. This is a big deal for my giant, slobbery dog. A normal water bowl isn't usually big enough for my dog and we both really appreciated the large bin here. 2) Large area. There are larger sniffspots out there, but most of the other sniffspots are a lot smaller than this one. This one is large enough that most dogs won't get bored too soon I think. 3) No barbed wire. All the rural sniffspots that I have been to before this one have a string of barbed wire at the top of the fence. If a dog knocks a human over near the fence or a dog puts his front paws up on the fence, there could be serious injury. I was SO pleased to see that this sniffspot has no barbed wire at all! 4) Flat area. While my dog really enjoys the smells of a more natural setting, this sniffspot is like a giant, very well maintained lawn, without mole holes, dog dug holes etc. The spot is very nice for human footing. If you are the kind of person who likes to walk at a good pace around the perimeter to move with your dog, you will really like this sniffspot. 5) Easy to get to. This sniffspot was practically a straight shot from my house and didn't take long. I thought it was really easy to get to. While my dog is not a ball dog, I also want to mention for those people who have ball dogs, this sniffspot is a DREAM come true! There is a giant bin of balls and the sniffspot area is mostly one large open area. It would be a great place to throw balls. The only suggestion I have for improvement is that the parking directions were a little unclear, and I didn't see the house numbers when I drove up. I only knew where to go because I recognized the fence from the picture on the snifffspot page. My suggestion is to put up a sniffspot sign where we are supposed to park - which will serve both to make sure we park in the right place and help first timers quickly find the right house. That's just a minor suggestion. I want to end on a wholly positive note, so I'll add: The price is good too! :-) We go to sniffspots a lot. The cost adds up. So, I really appreciate the pricing at this sniffspot. We will definitely be going back!

Such a lovely spot! Our dogs enjoyed romping on the large, flat lawn. Nice mix of sun and shade and plenty of fresh water. Susan was a warm and welcoming host. We will definitely be back!

Great spot for our pups. The pool was a huge hit, and both the dogs had such a great time running around. The fence is perfect and the spot is clean and well-maintained.

Great clean, open space. Quite peaceful-except if your dog just needs to run, there’s that too.

Great spot with all the amenities you would need. Secure fencing that was thoroughly checked by my husky mix! Dogs had a great time and Susan was a great host.

My new favorite spot! Susan was so welcoming and such a great host. Very nice open field with plenty of space to run, and I love that its fully fenced in. Definitely will be coming back!

This is an ideal spot. Sun, shade, space to run… I loved having a safe space to practice recall with lots of off leash room. It’s close to me and the price is right for regular visits.

Super happy to have such a nice sniffspot so close to Veneta! The spot is super clean and the surface is nice and even to walk on. Ample room for fetch!

Great place to bring your dog. Friendly host, well mowed, clean, water, toys, chairs, and shade. Fence was great. Our dog had a great time. We will be back often.

Pawfect spot! This is truly a spot where you can feel safe letting your dogs run offleash. The grass is kept cut short, so the dogs did not pick up any grass seeds or foxtails. There were no toxic or poisonous plants, no poison oak or anything like that. The fencing was secure. We did not encounter any other animals along any fencelines. There shady spots, comfy chairs, plenty of water (which also happens to be easy to refill if needed), supplies for picking up doggy waste, and even a Chuck It! with lots of balls. The host was friendly.
