A hidden gem in the midst of Smyrna! Nested within the city limits is 25 acres of beauty and splendor - creeks, woods, field, trails, and a crystal clear spring. One side of the property is bordered by rock springs and has some natural fencing consistent with a century old farm and homestead. Walk back in time and enjoy the boundless scenery. Please be aware of the water features as the spring is deep and moves swiftly through the property. An abundance of wildlife live on the farm so donโt be surprised by deer, hawks, skunks, rabbits, raccoons and such. With a farm also comes briars, thorns, uneven ground, fox holes, mole tunnels, and of course, ticks and mosquitoes. So come prepared!
Enjoy a countryside view with a shade tree to get a breathe of fresh air while your four legged family member stretches their legs. Pet owners are encouraged to walk around the property or sit under the trees in the shade. PLEASE DO NOT LET PET INTO LARGE GARDEN.
A true oasis for both you and your furry babies. Let your dog run off leash in this 0.34 acre fully fenced land while you soak your worries away in our hot tub after a quick workout in our HIIT/Weight lifting gym. Then take your dog for a short (or long) hike off our backyard in the majestic wetlands of Shelby park. Our 1 year mini Aussie puppy can be best play mate for your doggies or can be kept inside.
Fenced in pasture with plenty outside parking. Small dogs could slip through fence so be aware. Enter gravel driveway in front of garage and through large cattle gateโฆfreshly mowed and ready to rumble!!! Always a cool breeze and shade even on a sunny day!!! Stay in front of the now gray garage and you wonโt encounter cows ๐
Come enjoy our fully fenced in yard for your dog to roam. We also offer 5 acres in the back of our property of trails for you all to walk through. Trail area is not fenced in.
Welcome to our private farm. We live on site and will close our main gate once guests enter, ensuring the property is secure. Please inform us if there will be more than one car so I won't close the gate too soon. The pasture is fully fenced, partly with 4 board fencing, and partly with horse safe wire fencing along main road and against neighboring properties. Our current pasture is 3 acres with mainly open fields and a few trees and bushes. When it rains, there can be a small creek down by the road. The neighbor has a small dog that comes out on occasion, but there is wire fencing between our properties. We have a German Shepherd dog on site, but will keep her inside or in our private, fenced-in back yard during guest appointments. To access the entrance, guests will need to drive past the main house to the right and up the hill towards the barnyard. Buildings in barnyard are not available for guests except for use of the hose, which is marked. Located in the upper barn breezeway ( concrete floor) to the left of the parking site. Hose available. Signs are provided to help guests find the hose area, park entry, and parking. Guests: please feel free to move the chairs as needed to stay in the shade or sun for your comfort!

This 140-acre escape at Plentiful Hill Farm is great for dogs and their humans who value outdoor adventures together. Miles of marked hiking trails, woods and open pasture, a seasonal creek, and getting away from it all while still being close enough...all reserved just for you during your visit! We're honored to host families, friend groups, and hiking buddies who want to enjoy the peacefulness, beauty, and freedom found in adventuring with their pups on private rural land. (**It is up to the dog owner to keep themselves and their dogs on OUR property and not venture into a neighbor's area.**) Towels, water dish, hammock, table and chairs, and trail maps are available at the Welcome Station. A primitive outhouse is available for visitor use and is a little walk from the Welcome Station. Offering Sniffspot allows our family a unique opportunity to share our beautiful property with others. We are very cognizant of the rapid subdividing and development of rural land in Middle Tennessee, and we are hoping to continue offering our property as a peaceful escape to enjoy the beauty of the area. Thanks for your support towards this goal! :) ๐๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ ๐๐ซ๐ฆ We are proud of our wild homeplace and love sharing its beauty and peacefulness with others! This property has been in our family since the early 1800s, and in fact, our children are the 8th generation to live in our old farmhouse. :) The portion of the property for our dog guests and their people is 140 acres of beautiful woods and spacious open fields less than an hour from Nashville. This part of the property has several cedar glades, marked hiking trails, karst topography, a seasonal creek, a variety of wildlife, and several benches (one converts to a picnic table) available for guests. Weโve developed and are continually maintaining trails across our property. Some of the trails are wide and open and give you great access to the beautiful pastures. Other trails are narrow and twist through the unendingly interesting woods. All trails have names and are identified with signs and posted maps. The woods trails are also marked with flags and ribbons to help you stay on track. The terrain varies from flat and open to hilly and wooded. If you need the fresh air, chance to recharge, and time to explore as much as your pup, this is the place for you! Our property is unfenced, and there are some neighbor homes near the property lines. It is essential that your dogs stay close to you and donโt bother anything outside our property. Plentiful Hill is a wild place. We aim to make it accessible and enjoyable to visitors, but we ultimately submit to the inescapable power, beauty, and essence of nature. Please anticipate and prepare for normal outdoor issues including bug bites, snake encounters, and severe weather. We work hard to keep paths mowed/accessible during the growing months, but bug spray (with Deet is the most effective) and tick checks are necessary to ensure you and your pups stay happy and healthy. :) ***Because this property has been a farm for more than 200 years, you may find some old implements, trash, and wire fencing left over from all those years ago. Staying on the trails while in the woods is advised. Also, you may hear the occasional gunshot from neighboring properties. That is common down in the country, especially during hunting season from Nov through Jan, and it can be startling. There is no shooting/hunting on our property.*** The Town of Chapel Hill is 10 minutes away and has several Dollar Generals, a small grocery store, several restaurants, a laundry mat, and a few boutique shops...enough to cover any essential needs you have while out visiting this way! Weโre less than 30 minutes from Spring Hill and Lewisburg, less than 40 minutes from Franklin, Columbia, and Murfreesboro, and, surprisingly, less than 50 minutes from downtown Nashville. These are difficult times for a lot of folks, and we want our property to be a safe and inviting place for people of all backgrounds and their pets. It's important to us that people of color, those in the LGBTQ+ community, and anyone else who might sometimes feel unwelcomed in outdoor spaces feel especially comfortable and accepted while visiting our place.

Finding our tucked-away location, understanding how to access our spot, and following the โpoop rulesโ of our spot require careful reading of (and diligence in following) directions. **DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS** for these are provided after your booking. We have high expectations that our guests will be good partners in keeping our spot a comfortable and safe place to relax for our next visitors. :) ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐: ๐) This Sniffspot is an off-road adventure! You will be driving on a dirt/gravel path, will park on grass/dirt, and may cross the small creek by foot. Conditions get muddy and access changes during wet weather, so please be prepared to follow posted signage. ๐) Access to the property requires unlatching and opening a drive-through gate. ๐) Access to the fenced Sniffspot requires parking before a small creek crossing and walking leashed dog over creek and about 500 feet along mowed path OR driving across the creek and parking by Sniffspot gated entrance. The choice is left to visitor discretion, but it is STRONGLY recommended that low-clearance vehicles (sedans, vans, etc) do NOT drive over the creek. ๐) **There are unfenced farm dogs on the property. They are unlikely to approach you as you enter the spot but may bark from a distance. No dogs aside from visiting dogs will be in the fenced-in spot. Dog barking is audible and dogs are visible while in the spot. ๐) There is a marked โcreek spotโ outside the fenced Sniffspot gate. Feel free to explore this small portion of the seasonal creek with your leashed pup during your reservation! ๐) Itโs always recommended to walk the perimeter of the fence with your dog leashed when you arrive to ensure no fencing issues. We are interested in reducing the landfill footprint of pup visitors, so our poop disposal method is nontraditional but easy. (a) Preferred if possible: If dogs poop OUTSIDE the fenced spot in the tall grass, no pickup required! (b) If dogs poop INSIDE the fenced spot, use the provided pooper scoopers to toss poop over the fencelines or in the tumblers, ๐๐ use the 100% compostable green poop bags located in dispensers in the spot to toss poop in the provided compost tumblers. One acre fully fenced. Water available in a clean bucket for every visit and seating for pet parents to relax on. Off street parking available.
Over 6 acres to explore and sniff! Lush forest full of life and deer, plus open field to run! Fresh drinking water on site for the dogs and leave the poop to us! :-)
We recently bought a lil piece of heaven, 10 acres of paradise. Half is wooded and half is open land. Open field available for your babies to run on and an open spot in the woods to explore. The property line between us and our neighbors is marked with metal stakes so we ask that you keep your fur babies on our side. But feel free to explore the field of tall grass with trails winding through. We have a dry pond to explore and lots of room to throw a ball. We love it here. Once your done, you both will need a nap. Thereโs a hose out front of the house you can use to fill up water for your baby, and chairs at the walnut tree to relax in if you need a break. Feel free to walk the trails which come out near the fence closest to house and opposite side in field. Make you and your babies at home and enjoy paradise as much as we all do! See you soon!
Welcome to Zoeyโs Barn Yard Playground. We have a total of 7 acres with 5 available for plenty of doggy fun. There are 3 sections of fenced areas and lots of field space to play in. You will see 3 field gates on the property. Please feel free to open or close these for your convenience to section off play areas. We have cut a path that runs around the perimeter of the property for your curious pups and walking pleasure. There is a barn for protection from the rain and sunshine. Located there is a water spicket with a hose attached for use, trash can and a basket with extra waste bags, toys, bug spray, sunblock, towels and some water bottles for puppy parents. There are also a few camp chairs for your use located near the grill. Please excuse the barns appearance. You never know what project we may be in the middle of. Though we don't mind if your fur baby enters the barn, please do not use it as a play area. We are planning to refill the pond in the next few weeks for some water fun. We will be sure to add this on the amenities page once it is complete. Feel free to say hello to our fenced in chickens and ducks behind the barn. Letโs us know if you have any questions.
Flat yard with Adirondack seating/bench for conversations. Full acre flat yard for puppies to run around. Please be advise that our fence is not private, so you will occasionally find either neighbors and or loose animals within the vicinity. Any comments and or concerns, please let me know. We will do our best to make this experience a positive one for both you and your puppies.
Shade!!! Bring your pups to the country! We have crossed fenced part of our field for the dogs to enjoy! The space is mostly open with some large trees sprinkled throughout. The perimeter makes a great walking loop that you and your dog can both enjoy! There are wood piles, rock piles, groundhog holes, and other typical country stuff (right now there are a bunch of fallen trees piled up) This is a field and not our back yard. We hope your pups will enjoy the wide open space to run as much as ours do!
Our 1.5 acre yard comes with a private swimming hole for your pup! Our spot on Overall creek has water year round and offers fun for you and your pet. Come relax by the creek while your pup plays!
Birdsong Lodge is a beautiful place to let your dog enjoy the vast open space and take a dip in Sycamore Creek.
The property is over 2 acres but we are asking visitors to stay in front of the house because there is some farm equipment debris in the back yard area. The yard had farm fencing on one side and tree line on the other but will not contain any dogs smaller than a cow. There is a fully fenced in small run open for use.
All dogs welcome. You may be asked to leash your dog if your dog is unsafe. Otherwise, be off leash and have fun!
