What can I say...10 acres of wide open completely fenced yard that is flat with scattered trees for shade and endless room for your dogs to stretch their legs. Doggie pool available with fresh running water so you can provide your buddies with some fresh and cool water. Very therapeutic to just walk the land with my dogs, the only sounds we heard were a few chickens and a peacock. The land is well maintained of any debri and is a mix of grass and sand. I wasn't expecting the water-filled ditches that my pup went straight for and left her wet and a little muddy, so it's a good idea to plan for that if you have a dog that loves to splash like mine does. In fact, I was excited to see a chiropractor holding clinic for local pet owners and plan to bring my dog next month. All listed amenities were available. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
