Located near downtown South Lyon, this is the perfect spot for your dog to run and play. 1/3 of an acre playground for your happy pups. 🐶 There a few toys in basket for you and your furry friends to play with. If there are other doggos and their human companions enjoying the backyard, please be respectful and friendly. We want everyone to enjoy there time here. 🥰. 🌳🌲Welcome to Wynshire Woods! 🌲🌳 We feel so blessed to call this property our home, and would love for others to experience the beautiful nature we get to enjoy each day. Wynshire Woods includes over a mile of trails, fallen trees to sniff, hills to climb, and ravines to explore. Our 49 acre property is nestled in the woods, 1/4 of a mile off of the road with parking near our metal barn at the bottom of our driveway. We have over a mile of beautiful trails through hills and trees, with a short and long trail option. The long trail is about a mile long and takes 40-60 minutes to walk. The short trail is closer to 1/3-1/2 miles and takes around 25 minutes to walk. Take a break at the top of the first hill and relax in the hammock, taking in the peaceful nature around you. This is a great spot to bring a snack or picnic! We hope your dog(s) enjoy all the sights, sounds and smells throughout the woods- we have wild turkey, deer, many small wild animals to see, and and have him/her/them go home tired, satisfied and happy. This is a completely unfenced property. We ask that all dogs are leashed or have a training collar for recall, as wildlife and farm animals are abundant on our property. Dogs MUST be safe with free range chickens and ducks i.e. NOT chase/hurt them. Part of the trail does go past our fenced goat area. We do have 4 dogs who are contained to an invisible fence which does not have access to the trails. As long as your dog does not come into their area, there will be no other dog interactions on our property.

You're free to use the hose, which is located behind the willow tree where the kiddie pool is also located 6.) Your dog is allowed to roam WHEREVER in my yard 7.) Regardless if your dog is friendly or not, no one, including dogs will be in my yard while you're there, nor near windows 8.) Enjoy a beautiful rolling walk on a network of trails that traverse rolling hills in and out of the forest. At the back of the property, you will enjoy some of the best and most private scenery in Oakland County. There is a hammock to take it all in by the lake before completing the trail. (We are currently expanding and connecting the trails, as well as clearing the views to the lake and river, so watch for some nice additions in the future.)

Fully fenced yard, close to major roads. Get back to nature so close to the city. New for 2023 Agility equipment will be available for use. It is stored on the patio across from the doggie supplies. Enjoy running your pup through the tunnel or over the jumps and through the weave poles.

Spacious backyard with grass, some dandelions, a patio, and some chairs. There are a few trees for shade and a stick pile. Reach out with anything you need and I will make sure to provide the best I can for you and your pup! I hardly use the backyard at all except to add leaves or compost to the compost tumbler or occasionally to mow. That means it is all yours. This spot is definitely OPEN and no need to verify that with me beforehand. I will mark if it is occupied.

The .36 acre yard is fully fenced in with several access gates. There’s trash cans outside the gate for poop bag disposal, poop bags available for use, table/chairs/umbrella for relaxing, and kid toys such as sand box, trampoline and soccer net available for use. I run a pet sitting business out of my home and frequently have other friendly playful dogs over. I can keep them in, or I can let them out for extra play time and exercise. The yard is maintained weekly, and no weed killer, fertilizer, or pesticides of any type are used.

For the humans we have a picnic table and two lounge chairs for relaxation. Special note for June and July: it’s mulberry season, and boy have we got ‘em (fortunately they are not toxic to dogs). Please note that our parking spot and part of our Sniffspot are covered by mulberry trees, so you *will* get berries on your shoes. Dress accordingly! 👍🏼

We offer our 18 acres fenced in area. We specialize in reactive and fearful dogs. We understand the challenges of having a dog that is scared and how important is to have a place in which you can relax and enjoy him/her/them instead of being hypervigilant looking for triggers 24/7. And moreover, we want your dog(s) to have a place in which he/she/they can be happy and have fun instead of being constantly looking for triggers and feel stressed out. Here you will see no triggers (but a chicken or turkey here and there, which would probably add to the enrichment experience) We hope you can relax and enjoy playing with your dog and have him/her/them go home tired, satisfied and happy. As extras, your dog(s) will still be able to smell different animals like deer, turkey, squirrels, snakes, frogs, and also play in our small agility area. You will not have to see any dogs while being here, no worries we have you cover.
