55We always have such a fun time here, and truly appreciate the extra details the hosts have thoughtfully included, from floating water toys, to towels, to bug spray, to the hose at Club Zoomies for fresh water. Thank you, Tim and Brenda! This is a special spot, and we are so grateful you share it with us 💕
55We just recently moved to Lake Roesiger with our two dogs and just found this gem! This place is amazing, incredibly clean, many amenities, and the ability to have the place all to yourself (especially when your dogs aren’t great with other dogs) is a DREAM! We will be coming back frequently, and so thrilled we have something so close to home.
55Such a wonderful place to bring our doggies! Little stream, pond, club zoomies, etc. So many great additions and a lot of thought behind this place. My dogs loved it.
55Awesome! Super clean! Lots of amenities!
55Lots of really thoughtful additions to make the spot nice for both dogs and people. Also plenty of signs so you don’t get lost or confused
55This is a magical place. Our swimmer was so happy going back and forth between the ponds. Our sniffer was nose to the ground for the full hour and a half. We will definitely be back.
55Fun as always! This time we checked out Forbidden Trail (DNR land) and it was peaceful and great little walk once the dogs got out their zoomies.
55This is absolutely one of our favorite spots. The dogs run around for hours and its so grounding being out in the woods
55Awesome spot!! Thank you.
55Very well maintained Sniffspot! We were quite pleased with the overall cleanliness and the extra touches the hosts put in like towels and bug spray were so considerate! Everything was also very nicely labeled and instructions getting there were clear. We had no trouble at all figuring out where to go. Remy had a blast running and swimming and digging! Can’t wait to come back!

Description

It’s always been very safe for off leash woodland adventures...because it feels like you have it all to yourself. You begin down at the lower pond by the castle and rock wall, Following a laidback walk in the shade up to the new off leash park. There is bug spray along the trail in case you forget to use some and want it. Please respect other visitors and make sure to put your doggie bags in the provided trash bins, and PLEASE do not put your doggie bags in the fire pit!!!

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

:: Native woodland experience. :: There are squirrels and various wild birds that may be seen or heard during your visit, so if your dog is reactive or has poor recall make sure they are on a leash as not to wander off! 🐾 The single top wire on the fence on the pasture side is electric, so I personally do not recommend touching it, although if you take a blade of grass and lay it on the single top wire you will be able to tell whether it is on or off. Again, I do not recommend doing this however :). 🐾 We are out in the country and people may rarely light off fireworks or shoot guns in the distance. They are not close to the property, but the noise carries. 🐾 We board horses on the property. Although rare, you may encounter one of the boarders riding on the section of trails used for Sniffspot to access other areas. They have been instructed to avoid our Sniffspot guests. We ask that you do not approach or feed treats to their horses without permission from their owners. (As with your puppers, every horse has a unique diet too.) Other sounds that you may hear while visiting a rural Sniffspot property include: chainsaws, lawn mowers, weed whackers, tractors, rented heavy equipment, dump trucks making deliveries, livestock in nearby pastures or roosters in chicken coops … but what you likely *won’t hear* are sounds you and your puppers are familiar with like sirens, trains at railroad crossings, car alarms or loud music. 😊 Happy Sniffing!

We’ve been at Black Pond Farm since 1998, and our son started the Sniffspot to help with college. He is done with school and moved on to his career so we’re now taking care of the Sniffspot. If you can think of anything to improve our Sniffspot or you have any questions let us know!

Corinne's Barkley Park, 1 Fully Fenced Private Dog Park on over 5 acres of quiet countryside in Lake Stevens

Enjoy our quiet rural setting on our 5+ acres with our fully fenced 1 acre play area for your dogs. Our beautiful very scenic Barkley Park sits on over 5 acres. A little over an acre is securely and newly fenced for your dogs to free run. Our large acreage is open for you to explore and walk as well. Enjoy different places to sit and take in the landscape and open spaces of nature while your dogs gets to play and exercise. A lovely place for a picnic. Fetch on a few different long, and large lawns that are non fenced that are for Zone Fetching off leash, for those that are in full control of the friendly dogs. We are off the road and a safe quiet private property. No mud ever, all of our property drains properly and is well maintained. We have plenty of parking, our setting is very private above large homestead acreage quiet farmland fields . If you choose to be adventurous you may choose to visit the forest area behind the fenced area. It’s a steep hill up with natural woodland ground, lots of ferns, beautiful nature untouched. Old trails exist, we have not cleared them in recent years. We have running water with a hose for your convenience at our pump house. If interested in professional pet photography. Inquire with us for details. Portrait sessions are offered on our location. As well as European Organic Wild Antique Sourdough and artisan bread loaves. Organic Dog treats of the same recipe are available to purchase. Weekends we have a pop up table of Organic European Sourdough loaves, baguettes, fresh scones, cookies, picnic lunch sandwiches, and of course pup treats. It’s an honor system for payment. Cash in the jar, and Venmo for your convenience. Pricing is listed on each item, and on a list on the welcome table with the bakery delights. Just give us a heads up if you would like to indulge and custom order a lunch. You may often see myself, my husband and my mother enjoying the house yard, and patio, working on the property and gardens, area around our homes. An occasional family member might stop by our house unannounced, and deliveries might occur. We live above a farm who takes care of their fields so you may hear mowing in the distance in the valley we set above. We also have 2 very large friendly cats. Please be careful with your dogs if you see an occasional cat. Please leash your dog/dogs upon arrival until you become aware of the setting. Enjoy! Alder trails SniffSpot

Our property is located off the Burn Road in Arlington and is 5 acres, 1 of which is fully fenced and there are about 3+ acres of woods that have a trails throughout that we are constantly trying to add onto. Access to the backyard will be through the double gates on the south side of the house. Access to the trails can be either gate along the back fence. We just ask that you close whichever gate you use upon entrance and exit. The trails currently are just shy of 1/4 of mile looping back to the gates of the fenced in backyard. We do have a seasonal pond in the woods that we plan on trying to expand access too (it’s a work in progress). The fence is 3.5 feet high split rail with chain link very secure, the back portion of fencing is strictly chain link same height but acts as a natural looking wild fence. Dogs can play ball, sniff around, and run off lease in the fenced yard. Dogs with good recall can be off leash on the trails and run throughout. We do have neighbors where our woods end that are mostly fenced but some do not have fencing (which is why recall is needed). There is no delineation between the neighbor to the north’s huge pasture area which would be off limits. Please enjoy yourself and let us know if you have any ideas to add to the property. The pictures were taken during the winter months, the property and trails are so much prettier during the spring through fall months. Thank you for stopping by.k

Cedarbrook Farms Dog Park with Agility Equipment

Our facility has a fenced off-leash Dog Park with Agility Equipment with unfenced on-leash grassy potty area just outside. Our agility course is complete with multiple single jumps, A-frame, dog walk, tunnel, teeter and weave poles. On-leash trail walk through our wooded trails behind the dog park for a small additional fee. Cedarbrook Farms is a 60 acre farm with about half of this acreage as wooded trails behind the dog agility park. The main trail loop is to the right and is maintained (however there are two wet spots, we recommend you wear boots in the rainy season), the loop to the left may or may not be maintained. You can access the main loop out the back gate of the dog park (be sure to close and secure the gate behind you) or if you go out the front dog park gate, walk around towards the back of the dog park and hang right when you see trail options. There are single track cross through trails through the center of the main loop that you can explore at your leisure as well. The main loop is about a 10-15 minute walk depending on your pace. Dogs must remain on leash at all times in the unfenced areas, horses/dogs share use of these trails. There is a portapotty available on site at the main arena barn, please have your dog in the car prior to approaching the arena barn area. We also have Cedarbrook Veterinary Care, veterinarian Dr. Hannah Mueller, on site and offer canine acupuncture, chiropractic, SCENAR and Theraplate. Hike up the mini forest

Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may unleash your doggies right after the bridge and chain the gate if you want. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. Enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it on one of the cabin porches or covered / uncovered picnic tables. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. It’s my place of meditation, while my dogs sniff and romp around like crazy, do their zoomies and play hide n seek! *If you want to save a little bit of moolah, I offer membership. Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. If you are a member of my sniffspot, or have older dog/s and would like to drive below or up the hill to park so the fur buddy don't get exhausted, message me.* Some of you have asked about the cabins. Sniffspot is unavailable if Cabins are booked or vice versa. Booking is through Hipcamp (www.hipcamp.com). Name of listing: 'Grace E.'s Mini Forest Cabins'.
