We live on 5 acres about 1 mile from Camp Bonneville. The Sniffspot is a 2 acre pasture with a fenced seasonal pond in the middle. Pasture is fenced with 4 foot field fence with electric wire at the top (not charged), and separate from the house. Front fence borders on 68th St. Plenty of room to run and explore! Let's keep the pasture nice, please discourage digging and pick up after dog. My Border Collie and Mini Aussie will find your leavings (it's a large space, I understand things get missed, it helps to carry poo bags to minimize backtracking). For human exercise... 6 laps around perimeter fence is approx. 1 mile, 6 laps around pond fence is approx. 1/4 mile. If you're coming from Portland, the bridges and 4th Plain traffic can be challenging!

I’m not sure if it’ll stick around long term but come play in the fresh fluff as of 12/27/25 Our property is 2 acres of mixed hog fence of 4 ft and no climb fence at 6 ft. The hog fence may be large enough for small dogs to get through. There are deer and turkey regularly around. We have a mix of open field and woods! Also, you will hear dogs inside our house barking. The entrance will be a man gate by the large garage. There’s parking for 2-3 cars. The patio by the house is private. If your dogs choose to dig in the open field, that is fine. We try to keep no digging around the house itself. Please drive down the dirt driveway slowly to keep the dust down, and to respect the other homes. We hope you enjoy your time here!!

I have three dogs, two under 20lbs and a 60lb black lab but they will be inside the house at all time during your stay (unless you want a play buddy!). Welcome to our trail! This is a wooded path, mostly flat, with a couple of gentle rolling hills. Parking: On arrival, pull into the driveway and please park directly to your right in the grass. You will see a “guest parking sign” as well as an entrance sign and post with dog bags. Navigating the trail: On arrival, Keep your dog leashed unless they have perfect recall. Walk past the entrance sign and once you go through the first gate, you can let the pups off leash to run free. The main trail is maintained, follow it around the property, and come to the very end where you will find a gate with an “Exit” sign. Please leash back up at this point until you reach your car. (You may also come across gates that say “do not enter”… please don’t open these, you will no longer be fenced in.) You’re welcome to access the little seasonal creek but it is outside the fence line. Please shut that gate when you’re done using it. During the rainy months the trail can get muddy, we recommend boots for you and a towel for your dogs. In the spring and summer you will find wildflowers, and maybe even some berries! (Always only eat fruit you are 100% sure you can identify) In the fall and winter the leaves/foliage get sparse, so it’s easier to see the houses and properties through the woods, but the neighborhood is overall remote and quiet so it should still feel very private. Our dogs: We have 4 dogs that live here. They won’t have access to the area, but you might hear them bark when you arrive.

It’s a perfect place to work your dog or let them play and unwind all while being out of the weather or in the evening when the sun is gone down. Top Dog Vistas has 4 acres of fully fenced trails for you and your dog to enjoy. (All dogs must be on leash for the first 300 feet from the parking lot to the gate.) This hike is not for everyone as it climbs 200 feet in about 1/4 mile. Once you get up the hill there are awesome views and rest stations scattered along the trails that are cut through the trees and brush. The total distance if you wander all of the trails at the top of the hill is about one mile.
