**FYI: Starting March 23, our spot will be temporarily closed for 3-4 weeks for some all-natural lawn maintenance/recovery. After we open again, our hourly rate will slowly increase (about $1 per month) until we hit $10 during peak summer months. But we also plan to add some new amenities, such as a shade canopy.** Let your dog run free in our backyard that has a wooden privacy fence. They can also play or lounge under the shade of our large weeping willow tree. The lower deck has 3 lawn chairs, and the upper deck (accessible via stairs in the backyard) has 2 rocking chairs and a picnic table with 4 chairs. Use of shed in backyard is not an option (it will be locked). There is easy free street parking in our cul-de-sac. If your dog (or child) wants to use the toddler slide, feel free to pull it out onto the grass. If you would like me to make the box of children's toys available during your visit (for no extra charge), please select that option in the Extras section of your reservation. Note 1: When walking between your vehicle and the gate to our backyard, there may sometimes be other people or dogs on the street/sidewalk or in their front yards. Or there may sometimes be someone from our household leaving or arriving home (which involves walking between the front door and a car in our driveway). So please keep your dog on leash until you are inside the backyard with the gate closed (per standard SniffSpot rules). We promise - We’ll reopen in December 2025. Welcome to 50 acres of puppy heaven! Located off Crittenden Road in Suffolk, Virginia. Please take dirt lane, there is no house. Please do not disturb neighbors. Drive or Walk through the gate and the whole area is yours! There are walking trails in the woods, a pond to find and a river to explore. The open field is wonderful for training and or play. Your dog will love exploring this wonderful property. ***This is the country. The land is wonderful to explore but it is vacant and undeveloped. You will encounter nature, really in the spring and summer. There are ticks, snakes, uneven ground, rabbits, wet spots, etc. Please only book if you are used to the outdoors and being adventurous!*** Update from my guests comments: Wear bug spray when it’s warm, check for ticks after a visit, boots are recommended after rainy days, dogs may get muddy bring towels and look for the new mailbox to identify the dirt lane off the road. I use it for dog sports such as Toss and Fetch (disc). It is ideal for throwing a ball, a disc, or just letting your dog run. There is a shed in this area that has chairs, toys, etc. for guests. There is an agility field, available by special permission only, for those with prior agility experience. See extras.
