Lenny & Della's Private Dog Yard In Helena

Fully Fenced
0.5 acres

This is Lenny and Della's private yard 1.5 miles past Costco area. Well kept yard, lawn, and mature trees for shade, and it is fully fenced. Dogs can run all the way around the house to burn energy. Some gaps under the fence are about 6-10" inches high, so smaller dogs can fit underneath. Medium and large dogs can not, so the fence is only secure for medium and large dogs. West side is a tall privacy fence. All other sides are chain link. There are 2 horses to view, and even more important to smell! Chickens free range when guest dogs are not around, so your dogs will likely encounter some small piles of chicken manure in the yard. They may also eat it! It will not harm them. Be sure to close the gates to the highway before you let your dog out to play. The highway is very dangerous. Guest dogs are welcome to use the dog toys: sticks, tennis balls, and some bones! Water bowl and hose is available on North side of house. Please do not allow your dogs to go through the gates to the chicken coop, or barn area to the north. Stay within fenced yard with the lawn. Please supervise to ensure dogs don't dig anywhere:) Parking in driveway is welcome. There is also a cat on the propert,so please no dogs that will hurt cats. Thank you!

Bayou Road (Multiple Acre, Fully Fenced)

Fully Fenced
1 acre

Hi! I live on Bayou Rd in Kalispell Montana. I live very close to Presentine fishing access. We can board your dog for the day if you plan on floating the river. I have two dogs but I can keep them separated while you attend. There is a dog across the street but I never really hear him barking and seems to mostly be indoors. Regardless, the area is separated from the road and my back yard with a fence. My dogs, large and small breed, never escape this area. It would be great spot for people with lots of dogs or if you want privacy not found in public spots. No need to keep your dog on a leash! Contact me at (406) 871-4805.

Frequently asked questions about Montana dog parks

Why are private dog parks better than public ones in Montana?

Private dog parks in Montana eliminate the major risks of public facilities: unpredictable dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, and chaotic environments that can overwhelm puppies, seniors, small dogs, or reactive pets. Sniffspot's 173 private Montana locations offer complete privacy, professionally maintained spaces, and flexible scheduling. Whether you have a nervous puppy or a dog-selective adult, private bookings give you control and peace of mind.

How are Montana Sniffspot locations different from public dog parks?

Montana Sniffspots offer: (1) Complete privacy with no other dogs during your booking, (2) Controlled environments without aggressive dogs or chaos, (3) Flexible scheduling based on availability, not rigid park hours, (4) Safety for dogs of all temperaments and ages, (5) Vetted and reviewed locations—93% of visits get 5-star reviews. You get all the benefits of off-leash exercise in Montana without public dog park risks.

Can reactive dogs safely use Montana dog parks?

Yes, and this is exactly what Sniffspot was designed for! Montana has 173 private locations where reactive dogs can exercise off-leash without encountering other animals. Since bookings are completely private with 30-minute buffers between visitors, your reactive dog won't face the triggers that make public dog parks impossible. Many Montana owners of reactive dogs rely on Sniffspot as their only safe exercise option.

What amenities help anxious or reactive dogs in Montana?

Look for Montana locations with "fewer dogs seen/heard" to minimize triggers for reactive dogs. Secure fencing prevents escapes during stress. Quiet, spacious properties reduce anxiety. Some Montana hosts specifically cater to nervous or reactive dogs with extra privacy features. Read reviews to find hosts who understand fearful or reactive dog needs.

How clean are Montana dog parks?

Unlike public dog parks where cleanliness varies wildly, Sniffspot hosts in Montana maintain their own spaces and take pride in providing clean environments. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers) to prevent disease transmission. Many Montana hosts provide poop bags and trash cans. Reviews highlight cleanliness, so you can choose well-maintained locations.

Can I visit Montana dog parks with multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Montana Sniffspots welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (like 2-3 dogs maximum), which will be noted on the listing. If you have several dogs—especially if some are reactive toward other dogs—Sniffspot's private bookings let them play together safely without outside interference.

Are Montana dog parks good for senior dogs?

Yes! Montana Sniffspot locations are excellent for senior dogs who need gentle exercise without the stress of public dog parks. Older dogs can explore at their own pace, rest when needed, and avoid being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or large dogs. Look for Montana spots with flat terrain, shaded areas, and smaller sizes if your senior has limited mobility.

How do I find dog parks in Montana for small dogs?

Filter Montana's 173 locations by "small dog friendly" to find spaces specifically suited for toy breeds and small dogs. These tend to be more intimate, with secure fencing that prevents squeezing through gaps. Some Montana hosts have separate small dog areas or cater specifically to petite pups who might get overwhelmed at large public dog parks.
