The gravel driveway leads directly up to a gate that is the fully-fenced backyard. You can just park in front of the gate. I use the paved driveway. I'm working on a few more things back there, but the space is nice and very peaceful. It is securely fenced down to medium size dogs (about French Bulldog?). If you sit around the fire pit area you'll have almost a full view wrapping around the area. There is a water hose and a large bowl. Feel free to grab a couple bottles of water for yourself. I have a chair out there also. Enjoy the peace and quiet, or just let your dog(s) run wild back there haha. I keep it clear of leaf piles and dog waste. It's also treated regularly for ticks.

🐾 We have a 30x170-foot grassy area which is fully enclosed by a 5-foot chain link fence and covered with large trees, bushes, and a metal shelter with 3 sides enclosed for escaping a surprise rain shower. Upgrades and toys are continually added whenever funds allow.  💕 We offer this relaxing space for your dog to play off-leash in honor of our sweet German Shepherd, Hydee, who passed away in the summer of 2025. Our property is a NWF Certified Wildlife Habitat; and we hope your pup will enjoy sniffing around and encountering the squirrels, birds, rabbits, and butterflies as much as she did. 🐓 The only outdoor pets on our property are a few chickens inside a pen about 120 feet away from Hydee's Hangout, though you do walk within 30 feet of them when you enter the backyard. We ask that you please keep your dog on leash until you pass through the second gate into Hydee's Hangout. Please do not approach the chicken pen with your dogs. The fenced back yard is about 1/2 an acre or more of grass, concrete, rocks, fire pit, shade covering, and a small garden/orchard area (it's not for dogs, but we know it can be hard to keep them out of it - and that is OK! :) ). Gate entrance at the end of the driveway. Dog dish & hose water, doggy bags (these may be under the water dish), electrical outlet by the house back door, shade/sun protection with chairs, fire pit & chairs, swing on the tree, basketball hoop & balls in plastic toy shed, yard giant connect four, and kid toys in the toy shed. 2 acre pond for dogs to train and swim. Partially fenced , but off a main road. Total of 3 acres. Leashes not required but to do so is at your own risk. Bring your own chairs, water etc. please remove all trash you may have as no trash cans are available. You may park past the pond on the grass to your left by the big trees too if you like since it’s so hot. just allow for access for delivery’s etc. We are open for outside events for any rescue group that needs a venue as well. Just message me here for information. Due to the severe heat/dryness, the pond is currently low. Swimming for dogs is at owner’s discretion, I will update here as weather changes.
