45We came during the first snowfall and signage was difficult to see when we approached the property. The hostess was very quick to confirm for us though. It was challenging for us to assess the Sniff Spot as we had never been there before and were unsure of the pathways as they were covered in snow. There were quite a few trailers and a camper in the yard, so it was hard at times to see where the fencing was or if the dog was under the machinery. The neighbours also had a large dog that ran toward the fence, so if you have a reactive dog, this spot may present some challenges for your pup. Also, if you have a jumper or an agility dog, some of fence sections may be too low. Would definitely like to come back when the white stuff is gone.

55This is our favourite sniff spot to date! We had lots of fun and our buddy had a blast roaming the land and chasing his ball. We really enjoyed the 3 acres and fully fenced area. It provides the mental reassurance that we are secured in the area. The sniff spot is also more of an open field so you have a clear view of the area. Great experience. Thank you, Amy!

45We’ve been here several times before and always enjoyed it. Today though, we had saw neighbours walking right along the fence line (a man in a hat and a child), and dogs at the other neighbours about 25 feet away barking at us so lots of triggers. Nothing the host could have done, really but not the stress free environment I was hoping for.

Our dogs do like to announce visitors but will be kept tucked away during your visit. They normally do not continue to bark after they let us know you are here. Our neighbours also have dogs but they are separated by a fence, garage and another fence. They are rarely out or noticeable however we have had some instance of them barking.

This is a nice, quiet neighbourhood but there are people that walk past, sometimes with their dogs. They are on the road and our space is located at the back of the property so you should almost never see them.

It’s approximately a 1/2 mile long from the old green shop parking area to the end of the big top pasture. The very large grass pasture at the top of the hill is edged with wild brush (and a very old 4 foot page wire fence) is all on the outside perimeter, the only open spot is the 2 front gates. But recall is good to have as I don’t completely trust fences as I’ve seen some pretty good escape artists get over much higher wooden fences. There are 2 smaller pastures at the bottom of the hill before the bush areas as well, and one side has a little bit of a pond/standing water on it. You could also see some wildlife on your walk. We hope you will consider us for your dogs exercise needs, and are looking forward to having you explore our private ranch pasture. 🐾 🐾

There is a small gap (8"at the most) under the entrance gate. This park is more rustic and best for MEDIUM SIZED and up dogs. There is a large field and forest paths to explore and a massive dirt pile for digging/climbing! Grass is not mowed often here so grass is longer. Please dress appropriately for the weather and terrain. Public gravel road does border the park on one side so please be careful of vehicles/traffic. There is a small gap (8"at the most) under the entrance gate. This park is more rustic and best for MEDIUM SIZED and up dogs. There is a large field and forest paths to explore and a massive dirt pile for digging/climbing! Grass is not mowed often here so grass is longer. Please dress appropriately for the weather and terrain. Public gravel road does border the park on one side so please be careful of vehicles/traffic. Sheep and cattle will often be visible from spot as well along the west sides. Fence can be difficult to see at a distance so ensure your dog(s) know the boundaries. No children under 16 please.

It’s approximately a 1/2 mile long from the old green shop parking area to the end of the big top pasture. The very large grass pasture at the top of the hill is edged with wild brush (and a very old 4 foot page wire fence) is all on the outside perimeter, the only open spot is the 2 front gates. But recall is good to have as I don’t completely trust fences as I’ve seen some pretty good escape artists get over much higher wooden fences. There are 2 smaller pastures at the bottom of the hill before the bush areas as well, and one side has a little bit of a pond/standing water on it. You could also see some wildlife on your walk. We hope you will consider us for your dogs exercise needs, and are looking forward to having you explore our private ranch pasture. 🐾 🐾
