Description

Imperia's Canine Connection 1+ Acre Private Dog Park The Spot: Over 1 acre of fully fenced (6' chain link) field area with a drive-through gate so your dogs can start running right out of the car. The surface is a packed sandy soil during the cold weather months and mowed natural vegetation during the warmer months. A walk around the interior fence line is about 1/4 mile so it's great for the active dog owner too. It's a close-in rural location right in Aurora just two miles east of I-225 from the Sixth Ave exit. While my field area is strictly for the dogs, there is a horse in a corral area next to the dog field. My neighbor has loose chickens on his property. Neither the horse nor the chickens are bothered by dogs. Dogs may bark out of curiosity and that's totally appropriate and ok, but they soon realize that with no reaction there is no need to bark. Sniffin' Hours are: 8:30 am -5:00 pm every day of the week. You may reserve time up to 14 days in advance.

Should you see or hear people or dogs on the property do not open the gate. Message me first to be sure all is clear. I try to have the area ready 10 minutes prior to your reserved time though only have 30 minutes between visits on busy days to put out fresh water and clean toys. I also need to allow my dogs time out during that break, and I walk the field twice between each visit to ensure cleanliness.

I purchased this 2-acre property to have a private, open and clean space to train and condition my Doberman Pinschers. They all have a job in life and while we work hard, they are rewarded with this great recreation space. It's literally like having a football field right outside the back door and the dogs absolutely love going deep for the long ball. They show in conformation as well as compete in obedience and performance events. They love the spot, but don't use it all the time, so I have opened it up through Sniffspot for you to come and enjoy it too. Happy Tails!
