Paws and Smile Dog Park In Shawnee

We moved back to the KC area last year and are in the process of turning our new home into a doggy wonderland. Our team of three runs a full time pet care company including doggy daycare, boarding, and drop in visits for all sorts of animal species. As pet care lovers and trainers, we understand the importance of having a private, secure space to work or be with your dog for whatever reason. Our nearly 3 acre backyard is fully fenced, at least our 5 lb chihuahua, daycare dogs, and dozens of sniffspotters have yet to find a way out. While we try our best to maintain our yard, sometimes the grass gets high or there are fallen branches. If grass length is a deal breaker, just ask! We'll let you know if it's gotten high or is freshly mowed. There is a detached garage with an old chicken coop with a hole in the door in the middle of the yard. We're aware the hole is there, we don't have immediate plans to fix it, and we don't mind if your dog wanders into it. The yard backs up to the highway. It can get a little loud, but it's pretty much white noise to us and our dogs. Aside from the highway, it's generally a quiet spot. There is a smaller fenced in area of the backyard we use for dog training. You can use that or the main yard. There's a large circle drive at the entrance of our property. You can park inside the fenced yard (open double drive gate) or just outside of it (enter through pedestrian gate) . Near the carport is a shelf with poo bags, our business cards, grooming wipes, a grooming towel, dog water bowls, and usually some extra tennis balls. Let us know if anything is missing! There's a trash can by the carport, as well as a waste station halfway down the yard (trash can and additional poo bags) and another in our smaller fenced in area. There's a spigot by the carport and another at the RV port that can be used to fill water bowls or play with. We don't have lighting in the backyard, but can turn on the lights under the carport, should you ever desire. Feel free to move around chairs or table or use the swing. Note, this is our home and we're constantly working on our property. There are piles of firewood, wheelbarrows, and the occasional rake left out leaning against the shed. Turn down this beautiful, secluded, tree-lined drive and wind your way toward 36 acres of organic sniffing and running fields, rolling pastures, wooded acreage, spring-fed stream, saltwater pool and stocked pond. You’ll pass a historic two-story red barn built in 1890, blooming apple trees, bee hives, horse stable (with horse and sheep), and guest house to this restored, historic 1890s house. Beautiful native trees and a historic stone smokehouse. Sky-blue chicken coop and free ranging (fenced in) chickens. Look out the east for a beautiful view of the nearby stream. Additional viewable structures include a corn shed, two line sheds, outhouse and grain bins. The entrance to this unique property is secured with an electronic gate. Conveniently located near the intersection of Shawnee Mission Parkway and Nieman Road awaits a fully fenced pleasant oasis for you and your K9 companions to sport and relax in. Enjoy trees to sniff and a cozy covered patio with comfortable seating to kick back on. Guest WiFi is available. Turn on the patio TV loaded with streaming apps and catch a show or game. Bring a meal and settle in at our outdoor dining table. Welcoming patio string lights are available to plug in after dark, emanating a soft glow into the yard. Dog treats, new disposable recyclable plastic water bowls, and a water faucet are provided for our guests at every visit.

Donna's 2 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Overland Park

Hi everyone, Welcome to Donna's Dog Park! We offer 2 acres of fully fenced fun for your furry friend. There are flat, wide open areas, mature trees and semi wooded spots in the yard. Your dog(s) can run, sniff, roll and play to their heart's content. We have 2 water stations, 2 baskets filled with toys and treats for your pet. For the humans, we have 3 different seating areas. An open area on the patio with 4 tables and chairs and an umbrella that you can open/close depending on your preferce. There is also a covered patio with a ceiling fan, a table and 6 chairs. There is a basket on the table with sun screen, bug spray, wet wipes and hand sanitizer for your use. Waste bags are provided in the basket as well. The third seating area will be ready soon and is on the raised back porch which is also covered. It has an outdoor love seat, chairs and a hammock and provides a nice spot to sit and watch your dogs. We've recently opened and I've ordered a sign for the park entrance which should arrive in a week or so. We will have water features and an agility course in the near future. Our goal is to provide a clean safe space where your dog(s) can have a pawsitive experience. We welcome your feedback and will do all we can to ensure a pawsitive experience for everyone.

Bunnies luckily have escape routes, so if your pup likes to Sniff, this is your Spot! And of course, all the other pups scent also! Great spot for launching balls, while you relax on the patio. We're at the end of the Cul-de-sac. Still learning the ropes and enjoying meeting guests if I'm here!

Beautiful forested land full of hiking trails for you and your dog to explore. Private parking and trail access. Neighboring cows and donkeys sometimes pay a visit from their side of the fence. Very happy to be able to share this paradise with you! There are three homes located on this driveway. We are the second house.
