I have been involved in the pet industry for more than 45 years. I owned a pet care business in NH, providing pet and farm sitting, boarding, grooming, and additional services. I have managed a number of horse facilities, have worked as a vet tech, as a trainer for Invisible Fence, raised and showed AKC bullmastiffs for 20 years, and have authored numerous articles for pet and equine publications, including the award-winning book Without Regret: A Handbook for Owners of Canine Amputees. For the last 16 years I have worked part-time for Cornell Cooperative Extension; I also provide pro bono bookkeeping services for the American Guinea Hog Association, Forever Morgans Rescue, and The Magic Bullet Fund. My husband and I own the 30 acre farm where the dog park is located and we have raised heritage livestock for nearly 2 decades. We also love and rescue pit bulls in need.
Come enjoy the quintessential backyard paradise for your furbaby in an almost 1-acre fenced sniffspot! There is comfortable seating for you while your dog explores, sniffs, and zooms around the yard. Plenty of room to play fetch/frisbee for any rambunctious pups! For our water-loving pups there is a kiddy pool for them to play and cool off in (warm months only). Bowl with fresh water (bowl only in winter months) and complimentary treats available on the back patio. If you have any issues booking our spot (available time slots or number of dogs) please reach out via message so I can accommodate you as best I can! 😁
We have 2 sections of fenced yard space for dogs to run, play, and explore. The main dog-side is the primary yard for the resident dogs. The 2nd fenced section is typically used for human-events, parties, backyard BBQs, and bonfires. However, it is a great space to play fetch, walk laps with the pups, and hang out in the courtyard while the dogs play and explore. The 2nd section is fenced, however there is access to the woods & mountain, if your dog doesn’t come when called or is easily distracted, the main dog-side is safer and probably more appropriate.
Welcome to Fun in Freeville: Trail Edition! A short trail for your dog that likes to explore the woods. There is a fire pit about 100 yards in with seating and some natural doggy obstacles for those interested in agility and parkour exercises. We currently have one open trail that runs the length of our 5.5 acre property and back, and we hope to add more this spring. Our favorite times to walk this trail are in the fall and winter. It can get pretty wet during certain times of the year. I would definitely wear tall waterproof footwear in the spring and summer and use bug spray. There's a large fire pit with benches and a picnic table that you're welcome to use. We are doing our best to maintain and further develop the trail but please be aware that there is uneven ground throughout and watch your step. As you walk through, you will encounter different types of forest and trees. It's always fun to bring binoculars if you're into birding. You might get lucky and see our resident barred owls! Our property also includes a fully fenced yard you are welcome to use as well. See our other spot for more details and information: https://www.sniffspot.com/to/3yhyy
Fenced in dog yard, plenty of room for ball and frisbee throwing. Please ensure dogs don't jump in or dig in garden beds. If pool is empty, turn on/off well next to front steps to deck and use hose (to fill or spray your dog). Dig spot is behind the little barn (ok to uncover space from landscape fabric). If there are ripe tomatoes, feel free to pick a couple as a snack.
Quiet street in Lansing, NY. Four foot high, private, fully fenced yard. Lights for night time play! 3/4 of the yard is lit up for night time use. Plenty of space for fetch, zoomies, quiet walk, sniffing, digging or anything your dog desires! Kiddie pool, 3 hanging bungee toys, a small dig area, 2 seating areas, one shaded and one full sun, table with 4 chairs, hammock, dogs toys and fresh water provided.
Over half an acre open with some woods, flat ground and some incline, nice shaded spots to get out of the sun.
Come take your dog for a hike or play on private land! There is a creek, trails, open fields, digging areas, tall and short grass, near the house while you are here there is a swings and a fire pit! Come enjoy some time with your doggo!
Welcome to Fun in Freeville: Fenced Yard Edition! Our property includes a 2,500 sq. ft. fully fenced-in yard, a larger open field, and a 5-acre trail. The yard includes deck access and seating. There is a large umbrella for shade and rain in the summer. The ground in the yard is pretty flat and mostly grass. The open space in the back is also grass with some trees and bushes. It can get a little muddy during very wet times of the year but there is a hose available. There is a kiddie pool in the yard for your pup to cool down in the summer. We have a small fire pit in the yard if you want to start a fire in cooler weather. There's also a large fire pit on the trail with bench seating and a picnic table. Bring your binoculars if you enjoy birding. We have lots of hummingbirds in the summer and have seen barred owls on the trail. Please let us know if you're interested in having a fire or want to know if the pool is out. We'd be happy to start a fire for you if we're available or ensure the kiddie pool has fresh water. If there are other extras you'd like to see, let us know! For more on our trail, see our other listing: https://www.sniffspot.com/to/cm37j
