55Legend got his first Christmas present and fell in love with his brand new soccer ball. He got to try it out in his favorite sniffspot.
55Legend and I are still coming weekly. Playtime here is always a blast. Today there was one of his favorite toys, leaves. The picture on his hind legs he's catching them. The hosts are wonderful with having water and bowl for h towels or whatever else we need.
55Always a great time thank you!
55Another great time to run my pup. Legend always loves coming here! They are so kind of keeping us cool with a large fan and doggie pool.
55Great time again with a thoughtful host!
55Legend had another great day playing. Even though it was hot he was a wild boy. The host has been wonderful and truly cares about your dog. She got out the pool since it was hot and Legend enjoyed nipping at the balls he put in the pool I think he thinks the balls are his sheep. Last review I accidentally hit yes for domestic animals but there wasn't any. Thank you for making a fun safe place to have my dog play.
55Everything went well and my dog had a wonderful time! The yard was the perfect size for her to run and for me to be able to see what she was doing.?😊
55It was a great time of Legend to run off his stress because of the fireworks.
55It was another great visit. I wasn't sure how long we would stay because of the hot weather but there was a pool and fan. Legend used to hate water but seemed to get over it. I encouraged him with treats and he was ok with wadeing in it. Then he really enjoyed splashing. He was so proud of himself as he sprinted on the lawn afterward.
55Great yard! Had tons of toys, every time my dog went behind the trees he came out with a new ball! Lots of stuff to sniff and chew on. Host provided water for my pup which was great! Only annoying part was the neighbors dog barked at us for 15 minutes straight. But the host put up black mesh so the dogs couldn’t really see each other which was nice.

Both of my neighbors have dogs, so there is a possibility that you may hear a dog barking during your visit. It is also possible that you may see a dog, at a distance, on the other side of our chain link fence. A fence screen has been added to the chain-link fence for additional privacy. My dogs will be kept inside the house and away from windows during your visit.

Wynshire Woods Dog Trail In Whitmore Lake

🌳🌲Welcome to Wynshire Woods! 🌲🌳 We feel so blessed to call this property our home, and would love for others to experience the beautiful nature we get to enjoy each day. Wynshire Woods includes over a mile of trails, fallen trees to sniff, hills to climb, and ravines to explore. Our 49 acre property is nestled in the woods, 1/4 of a mile off of the road with parking near our metal barn at the bottom of our driveway. We have over a mile of beautiful trails through hills and trees, with a short and long trail option. The long trail is about a mile long and takes 40-60 minutes to walk. The short trail is closer to 1/3-1/2 miles and takes around 25 minutes to walk. We hope your dog(s) enjoy all the sights, sounds and smells throughout the woods- we have wild turkey, deer, many small wild animals to see, and and have him/her/them go home tired, satisfied and happy. This is a completely unfenced property, and wildlife and farm animals are abundant. Because we have free range chickens and goats up near our home, all dogs must be leashed or on a long line. Part of the trail does go past our fenced goat area. Any dogs who enter our farm area and hurt or traumatize animals will be fined. We do have 4 dogs who are contained to an invisible fence which does not have access to the trails. As long as your dog does not come into their area, there will be no other dog interactions on our property. 🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸 We are going into hunting season, and will be closed on the weekends so my husband can hunt. I will make sure any additional days he’s hunting I have the spot blocked off. For extra precaution (because there are properties neighboring us that people hunt), dogs should be kept on leash through hunting season (Oct 1-Dec 31). I’ve also purchased 2 orange dog vests that I’ll hang up in the hay barn/hut by the parking area that you can use while walking. (You may want to wear an orange hat as well). Just to be clear- no one will be hunting on our property when the trail has open days. I just want to be extra cautious because there are fields/woods outside our property that people do hunt. 😁.
