Hi! We look forward to sharing our farm with you and your dog!
Rock Creek Dog Park is a 5 acre park located just outside of Davis Illinois and is a very quiet, tranquil and peaceful place surrounded by corn fields. Sit in the shade and enjoy a good book while your dog gets the exercise she needs, or get a good hike in for yourself as well. If your dog loves water or needs to cool off, a small creek runs through the park. Parking area provided.
40 acres of fields, prairie, and creek. Easy access and parking. Trails around the property. Minimal traffic on the roads nearby. Garbage pail, tote with towels, bug spray, and sanitizer, water hose, bucket, picnic table, and chairs are available on the premises. Creek area extends from the southern road to the northern property fence line. Please look at Google maps/satellite for a better reference (our property is a large square that boarders 2 roads).
Feel free to roam through .75 miles of trail either way creek and open play area near. We also have a closed fenced area .5 of an acre.
Fully fenced 1 acre. Fenced in half as well so roughly.5 acres on each side. Porta Potty with hand sanitizer available for use and one of the outbuildings has electricity available for an outlet. Chairs and table with umbrella. Beautiful view and my pets love chasing after cars in an open space. Plenty of shade!
Lazy Bones Acres offers 5 acres of wooded hiking trails for you and your furry companion to enjoy. Pack a lunch to enjoy on one of our picnic tables along the way or simply take in the peacefulness of the forest and wildlife. Listen to the squirrels chase each other in the tree tops, the woodpeckers pecking away in a nearby tree, or the geese honking at a nearby pond. Wildlife that are commonly seen on visits include deer, rabbits, wild turkeys, chipmunks, a beautiful array of wild birds, and much more. *Our terrain is uneven as it goes through woods. If you have trouble with balance or walking, please reconsider your visit to our property for your safety. Trails are kept clear, but raspberry and blackberry bushes present thorns, please use caution with these prickers. ** Our spot is fully fenced, however if your dog is not command trained we do not recommend letting them off leash. Dogs have a natural instinct to chase the rabbits and squirrels we have. This space is for my primary business doggie daycare- after hours use on weeknights & all day Saturday and Sunday times are available.
A big backyard that is completely fenced in (part 6' privacy/part 4' wood fence) (The pictures don't do justice as it's end of Winter) I am usually here with my dog, Mocha, but we won't bother you while you're here! ☺️ (But I can come say hello if you'd like) There's chairs, a bench, and a deck for comfort. Water bowls (cleaned after every visit) *In the summer, there will be a kiddie pool & hose available. Dog towels, also available. There's a 30minute buffer between scheduling so dogs & their people can come and go without running into other guests. *There is no public restroom. No access to inside our home.
We are a farm which raises horses and host equine events. We are situated way off the main road where wildlife can be seen. We are excited to offer a large fenced in area for your dog(s) to have fun!
We have out door play & Our indoor open-play environment encourages exercise and socialization for all dogs. Your dog will learn good behavior, learn to adjust to new dogs, make new furry friends and become more well-rounded with each day at doggie daycare.
