Description

Located in the rolling hills of Caledon, Ontario, our 30-acre Sniffspot is part of our Bed & Breakfast, The Caledon Manor & Country Inn: CaledonManor.com. While we do not accept pets at the bed and breakfast, Sniffspot guests are welcome to make their time in rural Ontario an experience and extend their rural visit! For example, book the fire pit and Muskoka chairs for a bonfire, drinks, and snacks; book some snowshoes for an extended hike; or in the late Winter/early Spring, our Sugar Bush is in full swing, and guests can enjoy a tour of our Maple syrup-making process and lots more. Anything is possible, and we are open to guest suggestions!

Hazards

This is a rural property with the typical, potential hazards of a rural property; some examples, but not limited to: uneven ground, rabbit holes, wood piles, fallen trees and limbs, wild mushrooms, berry bushes, and potentially poisonous plants (e.g., tulips, lilies, poison ivy, poison oak, apple trees, etc.), plus many unknown potential hazards of rural properties, including, but not limited to, uncontrolled wildlife (e.g., deer, fox, porcupines, hawks, coyote, etc.) and farm animals that might escape from neighboring farms (e.g., cows, sheep, goats, chickens, etc.) -- a rare occurrence, but can happen!

Fire and chairs for 4 per hour. Additional chairs and music available upon request.

Hot Chocolate / Coffee$5

There is a wide selection of coffees or hot chocolate with marshmallows or whipped cream. $5 each/choices selected at time of visit.

Snowshoe rental/per hr/per set$20

Additional rules

We have 3 dogs on the property that will be indoors during your Sniffspot visit. Our 30-acre property is in rural Caledon Ontario with neighboring rural properties with dogs and other farm animals. PLEASE NOTE: OTHER DOGS MAY BE AUDIBLE from the neighboring properties. Farm animals and wildlife may be visible. Unless trespassers are present, there should be no other dogs during your visit. In our 10 years at this property, we have only ever had 1 trespasser with dogs on our property; it is unlikely (but a small chance) that it is possible as with any open area/only partially fenced property in rural Ontario. You acknowledge the above and agree that other dogs may be audible during your visit and that other farm animals and wildlife may be visible. There are horses and alpacas at the neighboring property south of our property. If you prefer these not to be visible, this area can be easily avoided using our North woods, trails, and North-East fields.
