Welcome to Elysian Paws Retreat, a private haven where dogs and their humans can escape, explore, and enjoy the great outdoors together! Situated on the scenic grounds of Elysian Oasis Estate, our retreat offers a unique blend of natural beauty and open space, perfect for off-leash fun (while leashed for safety). Expansive Play Fields: Our lush, open fields provide plenty of room for pups to run, chase, and play to their heart’s content. With rolling grassy areas, it’s the perfect setting for a game of fetch, a leisurely stroll, or just a good old-fashioned romp. Private Pond: Let your water-loving pups dive into our crystal-clear pond, designed for safe and fun swimming experiences. The gentle slopes make it easy for dogs to enter and exit, while the tranquil waters offer a refreshing spot for a splash on warm days. Serene Nature Trails: Wind your way through our peaceful nature trails, surrounded by mature trees and beautiful plant life. It’s a sniffing paradise for curious noses, with shady spots to cool off and explore along the way. Shaded Seating & Relaxation Spots: For the humans, we’ve set up comfortable shaded seating areas where you can unwind and enjoy the scenic views while your pup plays. Water stations are conveniently located for you and your furry friends. Rustic Charm Meets Modern Comfort: With a blend of rustic natural beauty and thoughtful amenities, Elysian Paws Retreat offers an inviting space that feels like your own private dog park. Elysian Paws Retreat Rules 🐾 Leashed Dogs Only: For the safety of all guests, dogs must remain on a leash at all times. This helps ensure control around open areas, especially near the pond. Vaccinations Required: All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and bordetella. This keeps our retreat safe and healthy for everyone. Friendly Dogs Only: Please only bring dogs that are friendly with other dogs and people. If your dog has any aggression issues, this might not be the best spot for them. Pick Up After Your Pup: Owners must clean up after their dogs. Waste bags and disposal bins are provided throughout the property to keep the area clean for everyone. Supervision Required: Keep a close eye on your dog at all times, especially near the pond and nature trails. While the area is safe, supervision helps prevent any unexpected situations. One Dog Per Handler: To maintain control, we recommend only one dog per handler unless dogs are used to being walked together. No Digging: To keep the grounds beautiful for all, please discourage your dog from digging. Notify the host immediately if any digging occurs. Swim at Your Own Risk: If your pup is using the pond, please be mindful of their swimming abilities. Life vests for dogs are recommended, and owners must be near their dogs while swimming. Respect Nature: Stay on marked paths and avoid disturbing any wildlife or plants. This ensures the retreat remains a serene place for everyone. Leave No Trace: Take all personal items and trash with you when you leave to help us maintain the beautiful, natural environment. Booking Time: Please respect your booking time. Arrive and depart promptly to ensure a smooth experience for all guests.

Nestled on a serene waterfront, we offer expansive fields for running, a sparkling pond for splashing, and nature trails for sniffing adventures. Whether your furry friend loves to swim, fetch, or just enjoy the outdoors, this private oasis is their dream come true. Come for the fun, stay for the vibes—your dog will thank you! 🐶🌿

Sweetwater Court Dog Playground

Sweetwater Court Private Dog Playground and Garden is perfect for an apartment pet, condominium pet or the traveling pet who needs a break to run and play off leash. Additionally we have many guests desiring safety for dogs and children to play together. Bring a friend, have a picnic while your dogs play. This is not just our yard; it is our field to the side of our house and a little more than half an acre is fenced. Another 5 1/2 acres offers privacy and serenity. Feel free to let your pet run through the fenced field and dig in the garden. They love sniffing all of the plants and running the rows . We don’t mind! There are plenty of interesting areas for your pet to explore and run and a lot for them to sniff and explore. The field is mowed weekly and may have some bare spots and occasionally dog poop. We are not UPSCALE. ALL BREEDS WELCOME. There is fun for Small and Large dogs. We are located in Southern Guilford County, just 2 miles off Interstates 85 and 73 and 5 miles from Wendover Ave with easy access. We have a water spigot on the property, free puppy pool, hose and spraying fire hydrant. We now have the Sunflower She Shed with an 8 foot covered porch with fan and an air conditioned and heated interior room with refrigerator and snacks to purchase. There is a wonderful glider in the shade, several benches with cushions, a hammock, zero gravity recliner, pillows and a lounging blanket are always included. We have additional extras, and feel free to make yourself at home. Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram for additional specials. For people Extras are available such as snacks and cold drinks and frozen ice cream found in the Sunflower She Shed refrigerator/freezer. We have a Keurig coffee pot, Hot Chocolate and Hot tea available.

	Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
	This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
	Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
	Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.
