We have an acre of fully fenced area or 2 acres of 90% fenced area. Grass is kept short and our property is completely flat. There are chickens behind a fully fenced area.

Daily 6 A.M. until 9 P.M. we offer a partially fenced, groomed 1 acre + 2 field play areas, where your dogs can run free. We have chairs in the fields for you to relax. We have a Chuckit available to throw balls for your dogs. There is a pond in the first field but I don't recommend it for swimming except in May. Fresh well water in a bucket, for dogs, and bowls, are provided in the first field. From there we have a mile long gravel walking trail along fields and forest. It's very straight, and if you stay on the trail, you can't get lost. It is very quiet and peaceful. Part way back there is a small run-off creek and metal culvert that is suitable for dog swimming in the spring and early summer. This is marked so is avoidable if you put your dogs back on a lead as you pass. You can often see deer, wild turkeys and lots of birds, sometimes bald eagles. A walk to the end and back is 2 miles and takes 40 minutes at a moderate pace. Just past the culvert, we offer a nice trail around a wheat field, going East initially. This trail is very pretty and easy to follow. It's about half a mile and takes 10 or 15 minutes to walk. There are a couple of wet/muddy spots so be mindful. Be dressed for gravel on the trail, uneven footing on the wheat field trail, and potential water and mud puddles on the property in wet seasons and after rain. The main trail runs North/South so if you want a sunny walk, go at midday. A shady walk, go after 3 p.m. Cooler times are before 11 a.m. We plan to add a trail through the woods in the fall once the insects and ticks die off. Gift your dog(s) the experiences of positive enrichment- with multiple opportunities to explore, play, train & have fun! Let them climb boulders, logs, chase squirrels, play catch, find a favourite stick, run, jump, practice training exercises and sniff to their hearts desires. We have 4 main trail systems with several interconnecting mini trails offering you a new adventure every visit! The forest is partially fenced, has several trails to choose from, and is home to lots of wildlife, sticks to chew and prance around with, places to dig, and three ponds. In the spring time the forest is filled with trilliums, in the fall it smells of the best autumn leaves, and in the winter it becomes a total winter wonderland! We groom the trails all year round. No one else will be on the trail during your booking. Dogs are allowed to dig as long as it's at least 4 meters off of any of the trails. ⚠️ SUMMER TIME WARNING ⚠️ This forest is my family's (including our dogs!) favorite place in the Fall, Winter, and Spring. In the summer however, there are bugs. This includes mosquitoes, deerflies and ticks. The bugs get so bad during the peak summer months that we no longer enter the forest until they die back down closer to the Fall. If you wish to come during the summer, I must stress how terrorizing the bugs will be to both you and your pup(s). You are welcome to come if you so choose, but we want you to enjoy the forest as much as we do so it might be best to wait until late summer/fall time.
