Jessica's 15 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park (wooded/open field) In Hertford

All amenities are available if guests inquire about prior to arrival. I will leave them at the access point, and kindly ask to be placed back after visits. Large field with plenty of space to run around to get your pups energy out. We allow farmers to farm this field during the seasons, so during certain times, this location may be closed to avoid crops being destroyed, or pets to be exposed to any potential pesticides ( please note that our farmers do not use typical pesticides due to our horses being in close proximity) We have a wooded area that is able to be accessed if acquired about prior to visits, and if able to accommodate at the time as the woods are closer to our horse pastures, and home, so it will have to be prearranged. The woods have a trail that is quite extensive, but please keep in mind during warmer months that it is likely you can encounter snakes in that area. We also have swamp areas in the woods, which is nice to watch the birds and turtles in their natural habitats. The field is flat landscape, and is perfect to throw frisbees, tennis balls, etc with your dog. If pet or guest needs any additional assistance please contact me, and i will do my best to assist you further. As always, enjoy your visit. We recommend you bring towels to dry your dog ,bug spray and sunscreen during warmer months. We’d love to welcome you to our place. We used a non-toxic dye in ponds in early March to give shade for the large Koi. It helps protect them from the blue herring until the summer grass comes in. It has almost completely faded, and it’s safe for fish plants, domestic and wildlife just a little heads up. our grandchildren swim in it. So feel safe.
