55Nice amenities and was well taken care of
55Great spot for my dog to run around independently
55We had a great time, the yard was clean and the host, though we did not meet, was super friendly and helpful !
55We had a lovely experience! There were so many toys for moose to choose from and he enjoyed running around and eating the grasses!
55We had such a great time. It was easy to find and was the perfect place for my dog to run around safely.
55This was our first sniff spot experience. My dogs wore themselves out just sniffing the perimeter of the fence with all the new sights, sounds and smells! Clean, well maintained, great communication before and after visit.
55So glad to be able to be able to visit again! My dogs had a great time today!
55Well maintained, toys and area thoughtfully set up, very nice.
55So happy our favorite place is open again! Never fails to tire paisley out. Great fenced yard, smells, and new noises to explore!

Description

The Pooch Playground is an approximately 1/4 acre fenced playground on a picturesque, rural working farm. Nestled against a small wood, the spot is far enough away from the house and barn to give a sense of privacy. The pool will not be available until June 1st. The ball pit did not survive the Winter, a new one will be purchased soon!

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

No small dogs (under 25lbs) until I am sure we have found and filled all of the gaps under the fence from uneven ground. Rocks in tall grass spots, possibly wild rose bushes with thorns popping up in non-mowed areas, wild mushrooms, wild roses growing against the fence on the woods side, ticks, thistle, hawks, and eagles. Possible holes from prior dogs digging. On your Sniffari walk you might encounter: Wild mushrooms, burs, thistle, ticks, bees, wasps, caterpillars, frogs, skunks, porcupines, bears, deer, coyotes, hawks, eagles, bobcats, old barbed wire, uneven ground, vines on the ground, rocks sticking up, roots, all the normal hazards that you would find in nature. Bald eagles and hawks hunt here, small dogs could be at risk, so do not leave them unattended. ELECTRIC FENCING around horse pasture.

I am terrible at these. I love dogs (and all animals). I am a grandmother with 3 Huskies, 4 horses, and 24 chickens. I work part-time in the veterinary field and am a certified dog trainer.

Feel free to reach out via text 603-401-3164 with any questions or concerns. Helpful Info: - Amenities that say "Upon Request" are free to use but I don't like to leave them out all of the time. If you would like to use one or all, just message me through sniffspot and let me know so I can have it out for you. - For doggie play-dates, one person should book for all attendees. - You can park on the street or in the driveway when available. - The pool is protected by a fence in the winter and open in the summer. Access to the pool is blocked by a gate on the deck stairs. - After a lot of rain we sometimes get muddy puddles. - The yard has grass, flowers, woods, a kiddie pool, access to a hose, water bowl, dog toys, a place for pet parents to sit and relax while the doggos play. - Its probably a bit more than a 1/2 acre fenced with grass and a wooded trail. There will almost always be someone home during any visit as I work from home. We have dogs and I will lock them inside the house while we have visitors. Rules: 1. We would appreciate a 24 hour notice for all reservation changes or cancellations. 2. If you have more than 2 cars attending at the same time, please park at North Broadway Crossing. 3. Only one booking is in the yard at a time. 4. Due to the pool, no person under 18 is allowed on the property without adult supervision. 5. It is crucial that you arrive during and only stay for the time booked because another family my be booked directly after you or I could have my dogs in the yard if you are there outside of your booked time and I wouldn't want an unexpected encounter.
